Aldila Rouge White 130MSI TX info

The Rogue White in the TX flex is their classic "Silver/Green" lower launching profile that is a little bit stiffer across the board and with a slightly higher balance point.

Cheers, do you know the spec numbers by chance? Cheers

Torque will be in the low to mid 2* range depending on weight (lighter = higher torque). The higher balance point will cause a drop of 2.5 to 3 swingweight points, again based on weight (lighter = less drop). The shafts are heavy as well. Uncut the 60/70/80TX shafts are each about 10g heavier, 70/80/90g approximately meaning they will come out to be closer to 65/75/85g shafts when cut, depending on what you're putting them in and how much you're cutting.

I purchased a G425 Max with this shaft.  For whatever reason, the club measured .75" - 1" short of the state Ping 45.75" standard length and I was getting a D4.5 swingweight (D3 is the stated standard swingweight).  The head was brand new with the stock 26gr weight.  It would have seemed like the swingweight should have been a bit lower at that playing length.  Not sure if anyone else has had a similar experience with this shaft's balance point.  I like a high swingweight on a shorter driver length so it was actually a good thing for me.

FWIW, I ended up liking the HZRDUS Smoke Green TX better since it is more stable and has a slightly higher ball flight for me for some reason.

Unless you got the tour only TX flex version of the Rogue White then we are talking about two different shafts. The stock R/S/X flex versions are a different profile with a lower balance point.

It says TX 70 but I assume it is not a tour only version.  The main point was that it is well below the standard length but above the stated stock SW which could be useful information and may be counter to previous posters comments to about a higher balance point with this shaft.   I really don't know much about this shaft other than it's a little active for me and I was surprised by the swingweight.

I would definitely check the headweight then, because that does not add up with the specs i've seen. I can almost guarantee that the higher swingweight is due to higher headweight.

How would you say it compares to the Ventus black?

I know you were asking others, but my choice came down to these two shafts plus the Diamana ZF.

Ventus black is a low/low, Rogue white is marketed as mid/low. That said, performance-wise I had very similar results as far as launch and spin go, the ZF was no slouch either. I am in the rogue white 70 tx tipped 1” with Sim 1 head.

Only reason I went with the rogue white was because I preferred the feel over the Ventus black. Overall I felt more confident and found the center of the club face more often.

oh, and it’s more expensive. Which is cool.

Thanks for your opinion mate, my questions are for anyone with comparison feedback.

I’ve just been offered a killer price so was thinking of getting a few for me and my mates, well I think it’s a killer price, what should they cost??

When they were first available I want to say they were around the normal $350ish premium shaft price point, but since they never gained any meaningful tour traction they started appearing cheaper, but still fairly rare. Now there is a flood of them for $115-$130 on eBay, so don't jump on anything higher than that if you've gotten an offer from somewhere else.

So I’ve informed that the Rogue white 130 were originally made for OEM as a stock option, and was then brought to the aftermarket.
so is still seen as the “cheaper” model of the Rogue lineup. Considerably cheaper than Silver and Black.

Is this due to overall materials used?

The rogue TX is a premium aftermarket option so it’s not cheaper overall. It’s a solid option just like all the other TX options

What @Gtyler14 said. The R/S/X Flex is the cheaper OEM shaft, the TX was a premium tour only model. This is what the customer support correspondence that @IL2AZ posted from Aldila is referring to with "higher grade materials".

Do the OEM versions have etched graphics? Seems like I remember this being a TX only thing.

You couldn’t find it for less than $450 if purchasing new. Pre Autoflex, I believe it was the most expensive shaft I’d seen at the time.

I've only ever seen the laser etched graphics on limited runs of the tour only models, which was also the case for the original Rogue Silver shafts. The Tour Green/Blue sometimes had etched graphics as well, but again only in the Tour-X flex.

Yes and it was just perfect timing too. I have been trying to unload mine for a month. I started high and every week I have to lower the price significantly to keep up with these sellers. They have gone from $175 down to now $115 in a matter of 2 weeks...
