A. What wedges are you using (which also answers whether or not all your wedges match one another)?

B. Do your wedges match the maker of your irons? If not, what irons do you play?

C. Starting with your pitching wedge, what is the gapping of your wedges (which also answers how many wedges you play)?

D. What bounce/grind?

E. What shafts do you have in your wedges?

 

A.Cleveland CBX 2 in 46, 52 (bent to 51ish and flat), 54, and CBX full face 58. 

 

B.  No, well sort of m yes, they flow together very well with my Srixon Z585s.   

 

 

C.  Distance 46 130ish, 52/51 115 ish,  54 100ish, 58 max 90. Despite being a strong PW, my 46 doesn't really go that far, I can hit my 9 iron 145ish+.  I have the PW to match my set, but prefer the CBX 2, and I do chip with it when I can, and I can hit a soft 80% shot easier than the set PW, hit that liittle PW that spins less vs going all out on my GW.

PW=set PW Mizuno919 Hot Metal Pro, GW=Cleveland CBX2, SW/LW Vokey SM8

 

B. Do your wedges match the maker of your irons? If not, what irons do you play?

 

Only PW matches maker since it's a set wedge.

 

C. Starting with your pitching wedge, what is the gapping of your wedges (which also answers how many wedges you play)?

 

PW 45, GW 50, SW 54, LW 58

 

D. What bounce/grind?

 

PW-not sure, GW Mid 11, 54F14, 58D12

 

E. What shafts do you have in your wedges?

 

PW KBS CTaper Lite, GW/SW/LW Project X

A. PW: JPX 921 Hot Metal, 50/55: T20, 60: RTX4

B. Yes, except for the LW.

C. 44/50/55/60 - I don't love the 44/50 gap relative to 5 degrees everywhere else, but its more mental than anything.

D. PW - no idea, 50 - S Grind/7*, 55 - M Grind/13*, 60 - Low/6*

E. PW/50/55 - Project X 5.5, 60 - DG S400

T100S PW (45°), MG3 (50°), MG3 TW (56°), & MG3 TW (60°)

D. What bounce/grind?

T100S has standard bounce and grind while the MG3’s have the SB grind with 9° and TW grinds with 12° and 11° bounce. 

E. What shafts do you have in your wedges?

Right now I have $-Taper 125 S+ in my T100S and DG Onyx X100 in my MG3 50°/56° and DG Onyx S400 in the MG3 60°.

B. Do your wedges match the maker of your irons? If not, what irons do you play? No.  Mizuno JPX 921 Forged

C. Starting with your pitching wedge, what is the gapping of your wedges (which also answers how many wedges you play)? 45° and see above

D. What bounce/grind? See above

E. What shafts do you have in your wedges? 50° Modus 3 105 X Stiff, 56° & 62° TT S400 Wedge flex.  All are +1/2"

A. Vokey SM7s that a pro friend had as demos and then gave to me in pristine condition 

B. Yes playing 714 AP2

C. 46, 50, 56

D. 7. 8, 14 no idea on grinds

You're right, some folks may not realize these are Tom Watson products, from when he was The Man.  🙂

B. Yes. TM P790's

C. 45*, 50*, 54*, 60*. I played a Milled Grind 58* previously, but really liked the ATV sole grind on the Hi-Toe.

D. 9* in the 50, 11* in the 54; both are the standard bounce edition which look like a Vokey F grind with more heel side grind. I don't believe there is a listed bounce for the ATV grind on the 60. 

E. Whatever I bought them pre-owned with 😅. KBS 610 in 50*, TT Dynamic Gold in 54*, KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 in the 60*
