Scotty Cameron Phantom X 9.5 Triple Black

Looks like another Scotty limited release coming up. I may try to get one of these as I currently game the X11 and think this looks awesome.

I've been wanting something exactly like this for a very long time. Unfortunately people will buy these up before they hit retail somehow and then they'll pop up here and ebay for 2x the cost which is already high.

the alignment and the detail on the middle kill it for me, getting ready to send an X7 in to the custom shop for a black restoration. That said it's cool, and I'm assuming more limited than the JT one from last year

It’s a lot better than the Champions Choice. It’s a good looking toe hang mallet. A silver version with a line down the middle of black part is definitely coming next year.

Called my local golf shop and they are saying the same thing, the rep said he has a few he can get, I told them to snag me whatever they could, these things look awesome.....fingers crossed.

Putter looks fantastic - I wish it had a top line instead of the dots but aside from that I think it looks great.  Gonna do my best to get my hands on one for sure.

I was tempted until I saw the price...£700 here in the UK.

 

How about instead of releasing overpriced "limited editions" they actually focus on having normal stock available...you can't even order any Scotty Cameron's over here in the UK from most retailers as they can't get any until 2022 at the earliest so aren't willing tp even place orders.

 

A buddy of mine has a Special Select on order and he has been told March 2022 for delivery....in all likelihood there will be new ones out by then!!

Well you can't even order these either because they're already all sold weeks before the actual release date and listed for 2x the cost.

Anyone else get their hands on one of these and surprised by how much smaller the head is than the JT phantom 5.5? I love both putters but was surprised when I got mine that its significantly smaller than the 5.5.

When I compared to my px 5.5, the size difference was minor, but noticeable..

Yeah maybe my definition of significant sounds hyperbolic but definitely noticeable. Just assumed they'd be the same size. I think I like it though - feels more blade like.

I like the feel as well.. also found that I like the red dotted sight lines. 🙂

px 5.5 is on the bench and likely not coming off.. lol

This putter has a great feel and sound. Nice compact shape. It’s a shame most people won’t be able to game it.

The scotty pattern of release would suggest that it could be true, They did the JT release and then dropped the 5.5. Similarly they dropped H19 Black and it ended up getting released as a retail model also.

I'm not certain but if we do see an OTR, H20, than I'd expect an OTR, 9.5 release for 2023.... purely speculative..  🙂

I tried to buy one but was sold out. I really like how it looks and would game it but I see they are on eBay for about double MSRP which is a no for me.

I have pro shop credit and was thinking of getting a 5.5 or 11.5 with it this year since I had no chance of getting this. If it's in 2023 that would make me feel much better about trying out and not having it released most likely a few months later.
