Picking driver shaft based on iron shafts

I know this may be a dumb question, but humor me. I was fitted for my irons about 1.25 years ago, I chose Project X 6.0 because they  were the best performing for me. I hit 7 iron about 175.
Now I just picked up a used Titleist Ts3 driver and trying to actually get a decent shaft for it. I know, go get fitted etc. But is there any way to get an idea of what shaft I may like based on my PX 6.0 iron shafts?

Was considering Ventus Black as I’ve heard so many rave about it. Thanks.

HZRDUS Black is the Wood model of the standard PX as EI profile
Ventus black is a different animal

I am not aware of any correlation between irons shafts and driver shafts. I have always gone by feel and I like my irons shafts tight & stiff and my driver shaft tight & not quite so stiff.  By tight, I mean low torque (1.5-2 for irons and 2-2.8 for woods). My iron shafts would be described by most as X and my wood shafts are more in the S+ range. All are described as heavy by everyone who tries them.

I expect that you know that True Temper bought what was left of Royal Precision, and RRs brand RIFLE made flex and profiles from irons to woods relative identical as matching counterparts, EVEN as FLEX into their own system with a slope of 4.3 CPMs between clubs or 8.6 CPM pr inch.

Before that we had True Temper Dynamic Gold, and Dynalite Gold steel shafts both as irons and woods as matching profile, so this aint new at all, but it was taken to a new level when True Temper (really Grafalloy) took over and made the first series of Project X wood shafts in graphite, the Tour issue series (the blue) about 10 years ago.

Later we have seen that the standard PX iron model have got "brothers" like the LZ who was made both as irons and woods to match the same player, and todays line up of woods even goes outside of the PX iron series, but we still have matching irons and woods with similar EI profiles or likeness that makes the iron player feel at home with their woods.

The Project X brand is the only brand i know that has a full line up of shafts meant to fit the same player from Woods to Hybrids to irons, and the counterpart as wood to the standard PX iron shafts is the HZRDUS Black.

Yes, I was aware of that all back in the steel days, but I didn't realize TT was still carrying it on today with the PX brand. Good to know.

Thanks!

@Jeff58the hzrdus yellow, smoke yellow, rdx blue are the shafts that have the super soft mid section like the LZ irons

the evenflows are more like the old rifle shafts.  i cant think off the top of my head of a current iron shaft like them

Its strange you dont know about this, but we we have at least "2 schools " here....Those who fit the shaft for the players swing, and those who use the shaft to get ball flight as they want it instead of using loft. We can also add that some players by nature has a different aggression and tempo depending on club (aggressive driver, smooth irons), so its never been like "1 system or profile fits all".

If you look deeper into the EI profiles available under the Project X bland, we get to see that they have ALL this factors in mind, so they are offering options with only small differences both ways to be able to please the actual players preferences, but just like "jazz music" no matter band that play the tune, you will recognize the tune itself.

The latest LS iron series (low spin) is a good example of that. Its no doubt that its till the "Project X signature" in the EI profile, but slightly tweaked from the standard model.
