Best tape / grip solvent to buy

I used to buy Golfsmith tape (before they closed down) along with Klean Strip Odorless Mineral Spirits from Home Depot. Now I can't find any tape that don't have issues. I tried "Wedge Guys Kit" from Amazon last. Pre -cut tape was only 9-1/2" instead of 10" so I ordered the roll so I could cut myself. But a few grips didn't stay, tape seems not to have enough glue. So I tried their Wedge Guys Grip Solvent, and same thing. Who has a quality tape /solvent combo online?

Thanks, I see it on Amazon, but some reviews say they are sending you a lesser quality tape and not Intertape.

Intertape 591 will have overlap

 

Golfworks even though stated as 2” will not overlap most shafts. Think DG shafts it might 

 

even bramptons comes up short

but to each their own

 

I use Intertape with Brampton’s, works great and easy to remove

I’ve used the GolfWorks tape for years and never had any issues. Also use the odorless mineral spirits, I’ve tried the Brampton grip solvent but prefer the mineral spirits.

+1 on GolfWorks. The tape doesn't quite give overlap on most shafts, but overlap isn't a necessity. I've yet to have a grip slip for lack of it.

I use blue painters tape, Brampton grip solvent and a bit of rubber cement and an air compressor and air grip installation tool.  It works great, especially for my BestGrips Microperf grips.  I don't need to use a round grip sleeve to control the expansion of rubber grips since these are leather stitched grips and don't over expand.

For solvent I prefer Bramptons HF-100 in a pump bottle.  No stink and easy application.  A few squirt shots inside the grip and then mist a few more shots over the tape on the shaft.  No spillage like when using mineral spirits (which I've also used.)

I use the tape and solvent from Golf Galaxy (same as in Golfworks catalog).  Use the solvent with green trim on bottle part #SOMQT.  I used to use the odorless mineral spirits with good results but recently it became hit or miss - possibly EPA forced a change in formula.  After switching to the Golfworks solvent the grip would slide on MUCH easier.
