Spider x true path removal

Has anyone removed the white of the true path? Would acetone work and is the finish under the true path the same as rest of club? 
 

Want a hydroblast version but not a fan of the true path.

...interesting point this because I am similar to you, would love a hydroblast SpiderX but would prefer it without the sightline - I wonder if this is ever likely to be a MySpider option. I have reached out to @taylormade in the UK but no response yet.

 

Does anyoner have any ideas on how the black line could be removed without ruining the truepath?? Thanks for any ideas.

Paint over it in white.

Or go myspider x as I think you can choose to remove the true path on there.

@philly2kukI had looked at MySpider as I’d thought that to be a good option but given the concerns re the durability of the  paint finish I had my doubts, hydroblast seemed a perfect solution…

…but it isn’t on MySpider!

Any white paint (even white out) should work. If you can't remove the black paint first you may just have to put a good bit of white paint in there to completely cover up the black. Just doing a light layer or two would probably just dampen the black line instead of covering it.

White nail polish, a white hobby enamel or acrylic paint. Make sure you get flat or gloss to match the white on the putter.

 

Multiple small layers will do a better job than on big load of paint.

I have found this on eBay - it is a "borders" version, looks good.
