Thanks for the shaft specs.

I don’t have a dog in this fight.

I am going to assume this is a real ‘thanks’ and not that you are too lazy to look at the pictures.

You get the benefit of the doubt since you posted after the OP gave a complete description.

- Something that continues to go long off the tee in the fairway
- Something that is a fairway finder when needed and long
- Something that high, consistent and helps with par 5’s
-  Something to help with long par3’s and short par 4’s

-  Something metal, lots of them and go the gaps I need
- Something metal, 2x of them and helps me 120y and in
- Putters - limited rotation because I cannot afford misses

Golf is what you make of it.  Play grateful and accepting. We are all lucky to have it.

Rather than expecting lets all try and appreciate instead.
Treat people the way you want to be treated

Don't need any benefit of the doubt.

Don't have a magnifying glass to blow up pictures to see the specs on the shaft with a cell phone.

Time to move on....

SO I think the issue here is that people do not understand what stock means. So when an iron set is released they come with what is called a stock shaft in that its what you would get it you walked into a big box store and bought it off the shelf versus custom orders. So if you ever want to look up the stock shaft then you can go to the manufacturer's website and look up that iron and 99% of the time they will have a stock steel and graphite shaft listed. Here is the link to the Taylormade P790 iron page. In this case when you click specifications and select shaft it will show you the steel shaft that is stock for these irons is the DG 105 VSS. OP could have put that in the listing but I think on this website he assumed we would know the stock shaft since it has been in every generation of P790s.

Sure.  No harm in asking though either.  People miss stuff all the time around here... Instead of jumping down someone's throat cuz they miss, or in this case, can't see the detail, why not just answer like the OP eventually did.  How many people are going to go to the manufacturers website to verify what these "might" be?  I just don't see the big deal in asking for clarifying details... is it really too much?  There's a reason people type out any and all specs in the ad, just to avoid confusion.  No big deal either way, it just helps avoid all THIS when it's done clear and concise on the front end.  I mean, as it is, we are taking his word that these are in fact what he's saying they are.  I see a box, some clubs in it, some DG120 shafts and a sticker.  There's not a face shot, a cavity shot, nothing that would prove these are what they are said to actually be.... unless there is more than the 3 pics that I see???  I thought as part of the rules, clubs had to be clearly identified in "for sale" ads.  Maybe the box sticker is enough in this case?

Sorry to clog up the thread OP, was just looking for some info, obviously I reacted too fast out of excitement.  GLWS.

    • Sony Open Pics from January 11, 2022 Part 1
I was able to get out to the Sony Open today to take a few pics.  I guess due to Covid precautions they kept the spectators pretty far from the players.  Also due to camera restrictions they've put in place, I wasn't able to bring the big lens like I normally do. Hopefully they'll ease up on the ropes and I'll be able to get more pics tomorrow!
