Is RTX deep forged wedge from Cleveland not coming to the US?

Had no idea this was a thing. I love my zipcore wedges I have, but would certainly be intrigued by a forged variation.

I also found out today. Anything forged always intrigues wrxers and most US major brand wedges are non-forged. Not perfect at Japanese but the website says it is suited for the Japanese lie (never played golf in Japan so I have no idea).

*. I read the site through and "the Japanese course condition" looks like some kinds of irregular ball sitting conditions (up or down). I get those all the time in my muni course 🙂

This will never be released in North America.  You can however probably order through TourSpec Golf.

no problem. I bought some Bridgestone wedges on there about a month ago, took only 1.5 weeks to get to my house. DHL is what I use for the carrier out of there shipping center.

So you only need to sign up for Zen Market, not rakuten or yahoo japan? I bought some JDMs from ebay in the past but ebay was much easier 🙂 Quite tempted hahaha .

It’s really easy. Upload cash to your account, pay the seller, it ships to Zen’s consolidation center, and you pay zen to ship it. It’s a great way to snag JDM stuff.

These forged wedges look great

I gotta try haha. Now i'm only looking for a gap wedge but I think I should talk to my buddies too haha. Shipping one wedge only is wasteful right? I should buy more lol...

I once thought about cbx2 and then somehow searching led to the deep forged... too much tinkering has wasted my time and time is money. I guess i'm saving my money for spending money then!!!

The container that they shipped my 2 wedges could easily fit 4. Packaging materials were no joke, it was well done.

The link says they have maximum forgiveness on Japanese courses. Sounds like they must not be that great in America...

I've played on a few courses in Japan years ago.  The grass there is mainly Bermuda and Zoysia.  I don't see how the forged RTX would be suitable for the "Japanese" lie.  Also, there are more forged variations of wedges for the Japanese/Asian market than here.  Asian golfers that live in asian countries are generally willing to pay premium prices for golf clubs which is part of the reason why you see more forged offerings over there.

Well... but those are cheaper in Japan than the cast wedges in the US. New deep forged wedges in Japan are sold around $140 retail....New MG3 wedges are $180 here in the US...  Of course they have more premiums line like kyoei but cleveland clubs are not one of them at all. Deep forged are priced just the same as RTX zipcore wedges in Japan.... Many would gladly pull the trigger deep forged are sold here retail at $150.

Yes, the norm is that forged wedges in Japan are usually more expensive than the cast wedges here.  I'm floored that the forged RTX is that cheap over there.
