Can anyone compare T20 and T22? I had the T20 wedges and liked the feel and performance around the greens but was not as much of a fan on longer pitch and full shots.

I was apprehensive about full shots simply because people kept talking about how small these are. FWIW, after a few rounds I love my T22 53 on full swings so much I added a 49.

Personally, I like a full sand wedge for certain shots and these just work for me.

This is good feedback. Honestly what are your views on the size? That is the biggest thing scaring me about these wedges.

For reference currently I've got 2 MD4s and a Ping Glide 3.0 (Eye 2, that I won't be changing) in the bag and historically played Cleveland and prior MD wedges before that.

Just my opinion of course, but I didn't find them to be too small. I'm a midcap, I am not snobby about iron size at all but I do find mid size soles work best for me. I play Mizuno HMBs. These are obvi smaller but they just feel precise and not intimidating. I was drawn to these primarily for looks (being honest) but have been excited by how well these work for me.

I took in the PW from my HMB set to see the size difference. They’re basically the same size as my existing PW. This HMB PW is almost exactly the same size as an Edel wedge I have and just slightly smaller in blade length than a TM HI-Toe. I really like the size on my existing PW so these will be perfect. 50 and 54 on the way for me.

Ok thanks. I ordered with the nippon wedge 115s. Hoping there’s not a delay on those. Believe I read the 125s in those are delayed into December

Where did you order from? I was going to order from Carl’s Golfland but they don’t offer the 115 wedge, only the 125.

  • 3 weeks later...

Hi all,

Cant find if this was covered in this thread or the other T22 thread but just wondering if anyone can confirm / have tested the shafts to determine if they are genuine S400 shafts ito frequency and weight or if they are S300's with a shaft label?

Had the denim copper in hand today and looks amazing but a quick question for those that have used it for a few weeks... will the Satin chromes grooves last a bit longer? Looking at Satin or Denim... usually would go Satin but intrigued by the Denim...

Tour Issue S400 is the stock shaft just like the label states. The grooves will wear similarly on Copper and Chrome finishes.
