Cobra recently launched their new KING Tec Hybrid and we are excited to give three members the chance to test this product and report back to the community with what they see. The Hybrid is technology packed to help you go the distance. A forged PWRSHELL face cup, carbon crown, and an adjustable weight and lofts system gives you reliable performance off the tee and on long approach shots.

About The Cobra KING Tec Hybrid
The KING TEC Hybrid features advanced technologies to create a hybrid that fits within the better player category. PWRSHELL Technology, a lightweight carbon crown and an adjustable weighting system delivers high launch and powerful ball speed. A lightweight carbon fiber crown saves 10g to lower CG and deliver high launch with reduced spin for increased carry distances.

Current hybrid?  Currently rotate a Srixon ZX utility and an old but trusty Adams speedline.
What is important to you in a hybrid?  Versatility- ability to hit off tee, fairway, rough, high enough for pard 5 approaches but low enough to stay out of wind (kinda important in oklahoma).
Why do you want to review the Cobra KING Tec Hybrid?  It looks like excellent hybrid, one of my favorites looks wise . Also really curious what formula cobra has given this as i was super impressed with what they did with their new putter line.

1. Handicap? 17.2 (but down 10 strokes this year and rapidly improving!)
2. Current hybrid? Ping G425 3H
3. What is important to you in a hybrid? Adjustability, looks, a little bit more roll and bulge than my current hybrid has (that's a box the King Tec checks). Looking for something that's an option off the tee both on long par 3s and narrow fairways or when I need to stay short of where my driver would get me, as well as something that can power through the rough.
4. Why do you want to review the Cobra KING Tec Hybrid? I've had great luck with Cobra clubs this year -- loving my Radspeed XB driver and currently testing both the Big Tour 3W and the Tour 5W. I'm looking for a hybrid with good adjustability because I'm taking lessons, which means swing improvements, so I appreciate the ability to change loft, move weights, etc. I also saw TXG Matt's video on the King Tec hybrid and thought it looked like it could be perfect for me, either 19 degrees to slot in between my fairway woods and my 22 degree utility, or possibly even 21 degrees to replace my utility entirely and allow me room to keep an extra fairway wood in the bag. (I'm a lefty, so those are the two options Cobra offers for me, I believe.)
5. Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and photos? Yes, definitely. I'd be happy to post high-quality pictures from lots of different angles, write in-depth reviews and answer any questions that others have.

3. What is important to you in a hybrid? Head needs to be small/compact, adjustable, and not hook. I freely admit that's a "me" problem but i have yet to find a hybrid that works for me in the long run. Not sure if its a mental block or not but they eventually hook on me no matter how hard i try
4. Why do you want to review the Cobra KING Tec Hybrid? I like Cobra clubs and almost jumped on the one-length train 2 years ago. I'm still searching for a hybrid that will work for me and hope this is the one

Why do you want to review the Cobra KING Tec Hybrid? Currently game the 3,4 & 5 F9 OL and really like them, but I'd like more gap separation between the 3 & the 4.
