Billy Ho.  Also rans include JT, Adam Scott, and Luke Donald.

Edit:  It seems anyone with a Nike contract is on the “not” list.

Oh boy the Adam Scott look is just not for me at all, too monochrome and boring colors (plus his pleated pants...).  Just my opinion though.

JT always looks classy.

I completely disagree. I think looking soaked with sweat spots all over you in the heat looks terrible. Especially as cotton garments stretch out with the moisture.

But it is effective and comfortable

The old cotton shirts were nasty , saggy sponges

The newer cotton blends are the best, IMO. They hold their shape, dry quickly and move like poly, but they actually look good. The problem I have with poly is the sheen and they way it drapes. It doesn't look good unless you are in perfect shape and even then it looks out of place in a professional environment(People never look good at work wearing them). They also hold odor after they dry.

Shirts like Peter Millar Natural touch are Poly blends, but eliminate most of the issue of 100% Poly.

As someone who has worked in apparel fabrics my entire career, cotton has not changed. Pima today is still the same today as it was in the 90s. Same for regular cotton. Standard cotton comes in 38mm lengths and 1.2 denier for apparel. 30/1s are the same today as they were 30 years ago. It’s not the cotton that is giving you dimensional stability, it’s the polyester. Polyester is stronger and doesn’t have natural stretch to it like cotton does (cotton has a natural crimp to it that can be stretched out).

When I meet with customers, I am usually in a pair of polyester/spandex pants with a poly spandex dress shirt (I like Andcollar’s dress shirts) and a knit polyester sport coat. Travel pants, suits, etc have become really popular in the past 7-8 years because they don’t wrinkle even after you’ve been sitting and sweating all day. Unlike cotton or cotton blends that will show wrinkles, sweat, etc. Finally, if you pour a quarter cup of white vinegar in with your wash, your clothes will never smell except like your laundry detergent.

Just thought I would add a few points to your post. We don’t all hold the same opinion on fabrics and that’s what makes the world beautiful. Have a great day!

This thread is hilarious.   Can we stick to current tour players?  Nothing wrong with a separate, historical thread (no pun intended).  In fact those guys win in a land slide cause they weren't walking billboards.

Koepka?  With those hideous hats during the Majors???   Matsuyama? That one made me chuckle, had to be someone that works for Lexus.

Keith Mitchell by a mile, perfectly tailored pants, a classic look with a little edge coming from the cropped pants.  And no one else is doing it.   The Polo & Greyson guys all look great but they are interchangeable.

Keith may look good on the first tee. Then he goes all Muni and by the 18th his shirt is unbuttoned, collar turned up and almost untucked. But he has nice pants I guess.

This could be an unpopular angle, but personally, I don't think any tour pro is "well-dressed" these days.  Stenson and Scott generally look good because they are good looking guys.

Almost tour pros are covered in numerous advertisements across their hats and polyester shirts. Then you have some young guns in joggers, hoodies and hi-tops.  None of these are good looks or have any stand-out style.

The last players I remember standing out with something approaching their own style were Parnevik and Katayama.

PS Simply wearing two-tone spats-style shoes does not make JT and Billy Ho well-dressed either; they're just slimmer versions of Darren Clarke.

If we're body shaming then no....... but Sam Ryder, Carlos Ortiz & Tringale are.   My point is when there's 5 other guys rotating the same script can anyone of them be considered "best dressed"?  I love Greyson, they're styling is great.   If the question was favorite Golf Apparel brand they'd have my vote..

Taylormade and Nike both do good a good job scripting their stables.  DJ and Colin on one side; Tiger, Rory and Brooks on the other.  Recently too, Puma has stepped up their game.  Ricky and Bryson in particular.

100% about the fit with all of the guys mentioned. I’d say the same about Jordan Speith and UA.

I’m sure each of those guys above has their stuff custom made from each of the mfgs.

In search of solid contact...

Henrik Stenson is the best dressed tour pro imo. Always coordinated and just enough of an edge to his looks without going overboard. Cantlay and Kaymer also sponsored by Boss but never look as put together as Stenson. So it is more than the logo.

Luke Donald also a good shout. DJ is the best dressed American, perfectly tailored outfits always a winner.

Ian Poulter may be a divisive figure but I always admired the effort he goes to trying to coordinate some of his more colourful outfits. I actually think his style has waned a little the last few years; he peaked around 2015 or 2016 imo. Even if the tartans werent for you, there's no doubt he did the solid, conservative looks as well as anybody.

Good call on Vik - the JL stuff is nice.  I don't always love the colors, but the fit is spot on.
