I picked up a sleeve of these today - zoom in and the lot number is the same as the image above...same packaging and everything.  It made me wonder how the process goes for Bridgestone to test products, and how the seller I met had these in stock.  Does anyone know anything about Bridgestone's prototyping process?

Well that press conference just answered that. The guy can't walk a golf course. Gonna be a long time until he plays again on tour - if ever. At least he's got a leg and can live his life.

Well Kenbone, at least you living in reality.  It seems so many think Tiger will play the Masters. AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN!  He'll be lucky to be able to tee it up at St. Andrews.  I'm thinking that is his goal; nice flat golf course and a few more months to get into shape to walk 18 holes a day.  Wouldn't surprise if he plays there and makes a decision about retirement.  His body has been abused for so long and the car wreck may be the last straw.  He can't walk 18 holes, much less play and practice.  If he can't compete at the highest level, he won't play.

I have no insider info, but having carried a bag around Augusta National a few times, I would be shocked to see him play this year.  That course is brutal on the calves for even a healthy human.  I wouldn't want to walk that course for 4 days with half the injuries he's had.  IMHO, the only course worse on the legs than ANGC was Greenbrier.  

 

St. Andrews is much flatter, but can be cold and raw.  That is almost as rough on arthritic joints as up and down terrain.

He won’t be in shape to play this year.

 

But he has the luxury of letting nature take its course. Rehabbing as much as he wants. And playing in pretty much any tournament he’d ever want to. Whenever he wants. Next year, the year after it 7 years from now.,

 

No need to retire ; )

2023 is realistic. I don't think he's done, but 2022 on the major's circuit is a bit dreamy.

I listened to the presser today. Tiger said he will play on tour again, just not full time. He didn't give any timelines for a return as expected, but not healthy enough to play and walk a course 4-6 times in a week right now. He said he has progressed in a positive direction since PNC, just not as fast as he would like. He is thankful to still have his own leg.

with the exception of Ted Williams, Jim Brown and Tom Brady how many iconic athletes got a chance to leave the game when they could still excel at their sport ? TW was year removed from winning a MAJOR...returning and not being able to compete at that level would be anti climatic and ruin the legacy, walking away now will leave us all wondering what if for all of eternity
