Looks pretty cool, I have the B.2 and love it but always wished they'd make a putter between there two sizes. Pretty penny though...

Just ordered.  Thanks for the notice.  I put the Polar BGT shaft on it, I’ll post pics when I get it.

I am a Lab-o-holic, these are the only putters I use any more.  I can’t stress enough how much easier and more enjoyable putting has become since I started using them.  I’m pumped they came out with a nice alternative, I kind of hate the way the b2 looks.

Happy to answer any questions!

When are you looking at a full production run? And will it be the same price? Really want to order one now, but 600$ is a bit more than I can afford at the moment

I think I in the other LAB Golf thread he said they were going to get the price down to $450 when they do the full production run.

What differences have you had using  LAB vs traditional?

There is a cliche about letting the club do the work. I would bet my car that this truest regarding this club - in my opinion, you have to do more with literally any other club from every single other manufacturer out there.

The lack of torque allows you to focus completely on speed.  The club stays square without you doing a thing.  The fact that you don’t have to compensate in any way (as long as you are fitted) frees up all this energy to use, you know, actually putting.  I don’t obsess over the tiny nuances of my stroke any more - you don’t have to.  The club physically is begging to stay on line.

To sum it up, I literally used to dread anything over 2 feet.  These days there’s not a putt I don’t think I can give a good chance.  The ball just finds the hole more than it ever has in my 25 years playing.  I believe LAB makes the best putter out there and I hope you give them a serious look!

ps. I do not work for the company, I just genuinely love their product 🙂

I can 100% second these findings, except for the fact that I struggled with shorter putts pre-L.A.B. but was good on long putts. The DF 2.1 did cure my almost-Yips (inside 5ft), kept my lag putting great (after some time of getting used to the putter, and midrange putts from 8-15ft do drop WAY more often than they used to. Three putts only happen when I really misread one. If I read the putt correctly, the second one is usually a tap in. No matter how far it was

I have a broomstick, an arm-lock, and a traditional, all with Stability shafts.  I have had them fitted.  I have the breast cancer edition and the mezz on the way.  I used to have 30 putters - I sold the others (including a Lamb, Bettis, multiple Camerons, Piretti, EVNRoll) and I’m down to the LABs only.

With the stability shafts, they feel solid and surprisingly soft.  They are also crazy forgiving - I don’t worry about where on the face I make contact, it doesn’t matter.  I prefer the thicker, more dense feeling OG grip but the built-in forward press line-wide is ingenious.

Hell yeah! You're gonna love the Mezz. So much fun to use.

just sent my video in for my remote fitting!!!

to all my fellow Golf WRXers I suggest checking this out!

https://labgolf.com/remote-fitting/

I watched Peter Finch youtube of the DF2.1 (which he ended up putting in his bag) and the video it showed how he done his fitting, Just recently sent my video off to see my specs. Pretty great to be able to know my investment won't be me just hoping I get my specs right.

how can I get one in Australia?

UPS gets it here quickly, too - it took longer for my putter to get from Sydney to Adelaide than it did for it to get from Oregon to Sydney. I submitted a remote fitting video and the result feels pretty good, but I haven't had a chance to use mine out on the course yet thanks to some surgery. But on the putting green and my putting mat, it's a total game-changer.

I bought one. Will let you know in 3-5 weeks. I'm hoping it performs exactly like my 2.1 only not as hideous looking.

My 2.1 is so ugly but treats me so well.

@labgolf I am seriously hoping that this is just a 2.1 that looks different. Is that how you designed it?

This is one very interesting putter and tangent to the DF2.1  from the mallet family.

I am sure the lie balance works great like all the DF/LAB line putters, just curious as to how it performs in real life, what is the feel at impact and effects on distance control. My DF has mass behind the ball on the sweetspot at impact, while Mezz is more leaning towards the Odyssey 7 line where the weight is on the outside.

Positive seems to be its more smaller head - something us DF/LAB 2.1 been yearning for.

For the price point, it's fair given it's a prototype aka limited. However, personally, I can think of more customization to my current DF for the $$$ involved here..but my tweaked DF is so good nothing on the market can touch it....

I'll say that nobody here in the factory has gone back to their DF 2.1.

Man L.A.B putters are so unique, interesting, and cool and although I'm putting excellent at the moment I would love to pick one up especially with this fang style now out there.

Is there ever a world similar to PXG after they got their manufacturing down where these drop significantly in price? I would order one in a heartbeat at $200-250 but I can't justify spending basically the same as I spent on my entire iron set on a putter

@labgolf can we get a comparison pic of B.2, DF 2.1 and Mezz.1?

I'd love to see how much smaller those two are compared to mine
