I don’t know how much “hype” the following players have but I say the following don’t get an LPGA card.

Sierra Brooks

Kristen Gillman (I know, I know)

Lindy Duncan

Kelly Tan

Luna Sobron Galmes

Anne Van Dam( I know, I know)

Bianca Pagdanganan ( I know I know)

It's easy to 'Talk the Talk' like @KBong, but would you 'Walk the Walk"?

  1.    What would you do if you're more than 50% wrong?  Would you censor yourself to months without new postings?
  2.    We'd honor you as 'Poster of the Month' if you're more than 50% correct.

We're talking only about these seven players.  You win if you're right on four of them, you lose if you're only right on three.

Is this a deal?

I feel like Malaga-Madrid- Atlanta or Miami - Alabama would have made more sense  but availability is weird due to the pandemic. Delta has the Southeastern US covered and with their relation to Air France it may have appeared like it made more sense. Although they could have flown anyone out of Madrid to the US then connected on Delta.

Or better yet....Tiger is part Thai....Jeeno should have shilled Tiger to send his private jet to Malaga.🤣

Everyone but Brooks will have an LPGA card regardless of how they do at Q-Series because they finished 101-150. Their priority won’t be great but they’ll be LPGA members.

I think we all know what we mean when we refer to getting a card. Even Kathy Whitworth who is pushing 90 technically still has a card and can enter an LPGA event.

@Supermilo

My picks for the contest are:

Mi Hyang Lee

Hye Jin Choi

Na Rin An

Actually you'll be surprised but since we're talking top 3, my picks are (in no order right?  eg we're not evaluating based on 1-2-3 but rather just a winner)

Jeen Thitikul (pretty obvious)

Hinako (obviously)

Furue (surprise! LOL)

I don't know that censoring myself for months or being named poster of the month would really amount to anything. How about this, if 4/7 don't finish in the top 45 and ties you don't post anything on here for 6 months and if more than half finish in the top 45 and ties, I don't post for a month?

Dudes, we're not in Afghanistan here (I think).

Just make it a friendly wager with no penalty.

'Bragging rights' can do?

But y'all do what you wish.

Point is why post something taunting a person that if their opinion or predictions are wrong that they self impose a ban on submissions?   Seriously, why?    It's nothing but silly bravado hoping to bully the other person into backing down.

My preference is to put a small amount of cash on the line donated to one's local First Tee program. Bragging rights and it benefits the kids.

Ayaka Furue is in Group #3, will start on Crossings Course at 7:52 AM; she's paired with Gabby Lemieux and Sophie Hausmann.  Hinako Shibuno is in Group 22, will start on Falls Course at 7:52 AM; she's paired with Jennifer Chang and Sanna Nuutinen.

LPGA did their best to let Shibuno and Furue start at the same time; good for WOWOW coverage and Japanese fans.

Good news for @MagicClassic407; she could watch Sanna's every shot on the first two days.

@Supermilo, do you have the URL of WOWOW's live streaming website?

here's the best link I have https://www.wowow.co.jp/sports/lpga/ - if you have Japan VPN, you may be able to stream via youtube by trying to find live streaming LPGA as keyword(s)...  they might be shown in youtube albeit a few minutes/hours late (depending on the posters)

Agreed, but First Tee in my area is a joke. So, can we agree on a $20 US donation to LPGA Girls Golf?  It is easy enough to screenshot a receipt and redact any sensitive information.

@18majors you in? Money for LPGA girls golf and bragging rights for the victor?

At least 4 out of my 7 don’t finish in top 45 and ties (I win).

LOL   (i feel like "First Take" sometimes in this thread -- just get on with it and play LOL )

I feel like there aren't going to be as many “true rookies” this year and it will be more people returning to the tour full time or bettering status.  I still feel like one of the players who is considered a “lock” will not make the second week. Someone like Shibuno,Furue, Thittikuk, Pedersen etc.

Donation is a great idea, we can donate to LPGA Girls Golf, Frist Tee National Headquarters or any other choices aiming to grow golf in the US.

But not for $20.00; $20.00 is meaningless and painless.  Most people won't think twice about having a dinner of $20.00 or more, but they'd be a little be more careful if it's $150.00 or more.

How about $150.00?
