Unfortunately, we've probably seen the last of Rebecca Lee-Bentham.  She didn't bother to enter Stage II and she isn't qualified to play Q-Series.

All good things come to an end!   Good luck Rebecca, whatever you choose to do.

After RBL retired from the LPGA....she was teaching pro based out at a range???....in the north part of Toronto???

She had good reviews...especially teaching kids.

We she wanted to get back to competitive golf a couple of years ago to give it another shot....some guy in Cali....'sponsored" her to stay with his family and be able to train year rd in Cali.

I think she's returned to coaching in Toronto???

I asked her dad...her loop...where Bentham comes from?...he never answered.

I think both parents are Korean.

@Golf Dino....I assume you know a bit about RLB.....and can provide more info on RLB and where Bentham comes from?

I haven't checked my notes, but from recollection, I believe that the father was adopted from Korea, and the mother is 100% Korean-Canadian.  I believe none of them speak Korean.  Rebecca is a class individual and I would wish were all the best in her future endeavours wherever they may take her.

Ok...that makes sense...I thought I might have read previously Bentham may have originated from a grandparent.

I thought her dad couldn't speak English...when he didn't answer me....guess I was wrong.

Dad is likely a good reader of people...saw me and said to himself.

"I'm not going to reply to this Chinese POSER/dbag."🤣

So is Bill Phelps the guy from Cali who was helping/sponsoring RLB's return to competitive golf?

I believe it did.  He was adopted into an English family in the GTA . . . I am assuming North York.

How times have changed in Toronto and North York.

I used to work at Yonge & Finch from 1990-1991....it's now another mini-KoreaTown in Toronto.

Kim Convenience was such a FUNNY Canadian Korean comedy.

Jillian Hollis is an interesting case study.

She didn't enter Stage II even though she's outside of CME #150.  She probably hoped to get inside #150 at Pelican but she missed the cut.  She finished the season at #153, not qualified to play Q-Series but too late for Stage II.

Wonder what can she do at this point?

Any idea how Christina Kim's good week at Pelican = improves her ranking? (after receiving a last-minute sponsor's invite)

On the "Full Send" podcast a couple weeks ago (i.e. Episode #26), she mentioned attempting the Monday Qualifying for Pelican
... and if she was unsuccessful (for Monday qualifying), she wondered how that would impact her being able to get into the QSeries finals?

She's retained her card for sure... CME latest shows she's within top 100.

Muni also made it, at 99 lol

Last call was Stephanie Meadows, if I recall right at #100

As an aside, Happy Birthday Hinako! 😉

This one is an interesting case indeed. On paper, she has nothing, not even symetra right?

I may as well enjoy it, and instead of thinking of a miss-hit shot, I'm now just allowing myself to have a new opportunity to have a sick up and down. This is my passion. This is my love. My entire life is golf. I'll stop when it's time. I'm damn nowhere near close to that yet."

It's getting more and more crowded to predict the top 5 finishers next wk/the week after the next...  Emily Pedersen obviously is obviously battle tested...  I guess these guys will have a lot of pressure to make it - otherwise, it'll clearly be a failure...

Well, the simple answer is, play your darned best, don't give up on any shot, and get the best priority status you can!   That's one of the lessons that Bianca said she will take into Q-Series this year . . . after being a bit naive in 2019.

@Supermilo

I read from "Seoul Sisters Forum" that Hye Jin Choi and Na Rin An from KLPGA have entered 2021 Q-Series.  Hye Jin is #54 and Na Rin is #67 on Rolex Ranking.

This is what we know:

  1.    From Rolex Top-75:                   Hinako Shibuno, Ayaka Furue, Emily Kristine Pedersen, Hye Jin Choi and Na Rin An
  2.    From LET Top-5:                       Atthaya Thitikul, Stephanie Kyriacou (Confirmed), Pia Babnik (Likely)

I know! Unbelievable but that's how she is / how she plays - the anti Bryson in a way. "Throw out the analytics with her lol"

Go ahead... Good time to brainstorm just prior to "the storm" that is coming lol

Each contestants picks three players; the contestant who has the player that has the best finish among the picked players wins.

By the way, I know precisely which three players you'll pick; and I promise you I won't pick any of them.

What do you think?  Make a new proposal if you don't like it!
