From my research, Costco is by far the best option. Limited selection, but about half price.

I've been very happy with my bad boy quad xl so far. It folds up fairly small, and has a smaller footprint while you're pushing with the clubs standing more upright than other models. The bag stays in place very well with the top lock design. It has every feature that I would need in a push cart.

I replaced an old Bag Boy three wheeler with this a few months ago:

https://www.costco.com/caddytek-superlite-4-wheel-push-golf-cart.product.100498159.html

I like it.  It's lightweight, folds compact, and rolls nice.  The front wheels can be adjusted for different sized bags and can be aligned so it tracks straight.

I’ve got a buddy with one of them and he likes the small footprint and secure bag attachment system as well.

I’ve got this version of the Caddytek that I bought 7 years ago and it’s held up well but in hindsight I would have gone with a different model like a Bag Boy Quad XL or Triton. When I bought this Caddytek I didn’t really think about all the design details and wish I considered them before purchasing.

Storage and Organization: An integrated water bottle that’s built into the main compartment is better. Mine is just a plastic frame that hangs on a notch that always falls off when I’m folding it. It also can only fit a specific water bottle where others have more versatility with size. Overall compartments with different uses makes a difference than some others out there that just have a little mesh basket per say.

Folding and Size: Generally 4 wheelers fold way smaller than three wheelers. My three wheel folds up ok but it’s bigger than some of the others on the market.

I don’t think a $300+ makes a difference in quality and durability but I do think you can get the same value in that $200-220 price range. The ones in that $60-120 price range are fairly basic and are a huge downgrade in my opinion. Also plenty of deals to be had online with retailers often putting up 20% off so you could easily find a solid push cart for $220 that’s originally in that $280-300 standard price.

I often check www.dealtrackergolf.com as they do a pretty good job scouring all the online golf retailers for their current promos. For example, RockBottomGolf has some push carts on sale and they are selling the BagBoy Compact 3 for $199.

Idk about best bag, but my FlexTech Crossover has suited me well. As for pushcart recommendations, I always recommend TGW carts for best bang for the buck. 4 models available, decently priced, and even better so when their sales come on like every other week.

I bought a Callaway ORG 7.  It replaced a 14 way top.  I didn't like the 14 spots.  I much rather have the 7 way for ease of use.  All the pockets face front as well as the carry strap and handle.  The top is nearly flat with no handles above the top line of the bag so all clubs fit no matter where you put them.  The carry strap folds into a small pocket when on the cart.  It also has 2 velcro straps facing the cart that will attach to the cart so the bag does not go off center.

As far as carts are concerned I splurged and bought a Stewart X9 Follow.  It makes walking a lot of fun.  It goes up and down hills with no problems.  It crosses streets without a hitch.  It'll follow you nearly anywhere you can walk.   It'll go 36 holes between charges.  Though I charge after each use.  It's like having a caddie following you everywhere.  You stop it stops right behind you.  You turn and go and it follows you.   Best golf purchase I ever made.

For bags, I always want a comfortable stand bag with a 4 way top. I've had bags with more dividers, and I found them more cumbersome then helpful. And I like to always have a stand bag because if I'm just going to the range or practice area, I don't want it to be a pain to carry and set up/manage.

Once that's selected, I want a push cart that will easily work with my bag of choice. Most of them do well now, but just make sure the legs aren't an issue in my opinion. Clicgear tends to still be the leader in push carts, but I went a different way. I personally prefer 3 wheels over 4. Same logic as the bag dividers. It just seems to work better for me. Others have different preferences.

Lastly, think about if you need additional space. Do you bring an extra sweater? Range finder? Multiple drinks? BT speaker? etc etc. I personally wanted a little extra storage for my BT and trash that I always seem to accumulate along the round. I could get by without it, but it's nice to have.

    • Sony Open Pics from January 11, 2022 Part 1
I was able to get out to the Sony Open today to take a few pics.  I guess due to Covid precautions they kept the spectators pretty far from the players.  Also due to camera restrictions they've put in place, I wasn't able to bring the big lens like I normally do. Hopefully they'll ease up on the ropes and I'll be able to get more pics tomorrow!
