Seems like the tickets are free...just need to sign up for them?

They probably didn't know at the time they signed up to play, but this is turning out to be an important event for Nelly, Danielle and Jessica.

 

All three haven't done much recently, a win by any of them will be a big shot in the arm for the rest of the season.

Ehhh, while the field is stronger than a regular LET event, it’s like a Symetra event with a few special guests. The appearance fee/endorsement money was all the shot they needed.

In Canada...I get to watch a replay on GC at 1130pm to 230am....I'll record it and watch it in FF in 45 min only to stop and later GIMMEE, Charley, Angel Yin and Gulbis...assuming they are coverage...wishful thinking.

She is a "bomber" off the tee ... but she has fallen on some "hard times" as far as her results go.  She was far more consistent a couple of years back, but I really don't know what has transpired with her game.

She's quickly heading down the Yani path. 146th in total driving, and as a result she's 150T in ballstriking. Her putting is excellent, as she's currently 7th in putts per GIR, but with so many missed greens she's generally putting for par.

On the 18th hole....GIMMEE is definitely using a Odyssey 2 ball putter.

Man.... I'm getting old and making so many errors....I didn't proof read my post....I always knew Alison has been using an old Nike putter for a very long time...heck she might have 3 back up Nike putter at home.

My heart goes out to Sophia for not capitalizing on the great shot she hit into #17 on the first playoff hole. HOWEVER, congrats to Team Jess Korda for their outstanding finish. I especially love the fact that Team Jessica was all FEMALE!! ♀️ I thought the playoff in the dark was entertaining but everyone is happy the rains never came (we kept them here in Ohio). ☔

 

Charley finished early and posted an awesome individual score, Nelly's putting was off.

I find it sad that a professional player has to carry or push their own bag. In a team event, don't you think the other team members would pitch in to hire a local loop? Heck, mom or dad pushing a trolley would be sufficient.

Sad reality of some of the smaller/ less  lucrative tours. 
 

Glad Charley Hull won. She is a much better player than her results show but I think her goal is just to earn a living and have fun a la Laura Davies.

Maybe these LET pros didn't want someone on their bag whether it be a local loop or a volunteer member.

 

In 2011, I volunteered to be a loop at a woman's Cdn tour event in Squamish, BC.

I was assigned a player...but the day before....she told me she could figure out the course on her own....I have played Squamish several times.....it's a great course on the way up to Whistler.

 

There was a $40 adm fee for a volunteer loop....the loop didn't receive the $40....but the organizers.

I think the player wanted to save the $40....money is tight for these players.
