On my 5th season with my Stitch SL1, still like it. There are some pros and cons as some don't like the single carry strap or the limited storage capacity. But for a strictly walking and carrying stand bag I've found others that are good, but not enough to dump what I've got.

Thanks! I split time between riding and walking. Does it strap into a cart okay?

I'm using an old Hoofer and would just get a new one of those but I'm really turned off by the stand-cramping issues making it really hard to get the clubs in and out. How is the stand function and the accessibility of the clubs on your Stitch bag?

I have the 2020 SL1 - it's a fantastic bag.  It does strap into a cart just fine, but it shines as a walking bag.  It's hands down the only bag I'll travel with now, as it's small and light weight.  there is only one divider in the SL1, top and bottom separation so you definitely will notice club "bunching" sometimes.  there are two small pockets (one with soft liner) for valuables, and two saddle pockets.  Not a ton of storage on the SL1 so just keep that in mind.  I can't speak to the SL2 in terms of size.

I can say it's the most durable bag I've owned with regard to the finishes - the strap is comfortable with nice metal attachment hardware, the zippers are oversized and super sturdy, and the material of the bag itself is phenomenal.  My bag is white and a damp rag and the occasional touch up with a Mr. Clean white sponge has it looking like new all the time.  Highly recommend them especially at this price.

Everything @Togatown22 just said. I don't ride that often but it's never been an issue for me, then again I've never had a bag give me issues on a cart so I'm not sure what could go wrong there.

I'll echo the comment on durability as well. The metal hardware is by far more durable than the plastic on most bags and they clean up exceptionally well. Mine is white as well and generally any white bag over a season old will show dirt and wear, while this just wipes away. The material is also different entirely and thus doesn't fray like other bags might.

The only issue I have is a pocket liner separated a bit after I over-stuffed it (completely on me), and my carry strap is cracking and could use replacement. Otherwise zero complaints.

I have the SL2. Overall I love it. It is a good walking bag, and having both the single and double straps is a nice option. It is super stylish. I get comments often. It is lightweight. It carries easily, and carries all 14 of my clubs. It is very well made and durable.

There are cons though. The pockets are tight, and thus the bag doesn’t hold all that much for its size. This isn’t a deal breaker, as much more stuff would make it heavier (and that’s what I’m trying to avoid). But the pockets do not expand in the least. Also, the zippers get stuck often. It’s really only one zipper on my bag, and I can always get it to zip after some fooling around with it, and the problem seems to have lessened maybe as the bag has “broken in”. But I was very close to returning it in the beginning due to the zipper issue.

All of that said, at 30% off price this is a great bag.

Already impressed with the speed of shipment. Before purchase they inform everyone of 3-5 days to ship non personalized items, 7-10 for personalized. Ordered Sunday with personalized tab and already received tracking. Hopefully FedEx comes through now.....

I noticed they put the SL1 on sale for 40% off.  Down to $208 or something like that.

I am torn between an SL1 and Titleist Players 4 Carbon.  I like carrying with one shoulder with my current Players 4, but do use both straps going up hills.

Personally I'd go with the Carbon.  The Stitch is a great looking bag but I found the pockets to be completely useless.  It was annoying how bad they were.  I'd go SL2 possibly but I think the Stitch bags are just beauty queens.  Much better functioning bags out there.  If you don't carry anything but balls and tees, then the SL1 might work for you.

@johnsomp I can’t speak on the SL1 but my SL2 came in today and it is by far the best bag I’ve owned. I love the minimalistic style and the weight. I do not carry a lot but the SL2 has more than enough room for me. I’m interested to see how it holds up.

Just curious - what didn't fit in your SL1?

I just checked mine - there are 9 balls, a handfull of tees and ball markers, a couple of divot tools, 3 gloves (in their sleeves) a 14oz bag of beef jerky, chap stick, and 2 sets of handwarmers in their package. Rangefinder clipped up top, and a small towel and large towel.  i put my phone in the lined valuables pocket, and my car keys and wallet in the other side.  What else are you carrying when you walk?

Edit to add- I do carry a large Hydroflask with water when I walk, there is not room for that in a pocket.

I always have my large Hydroflask, too, so that's a negative for me... also, I like to keep the balls separate from everything else and tees and markers in their own pocket.  I have some "tools" I like to keep separate and often carry either a pullover or large extra towel as well as some gloves.  I also like to keep my rangefinder IN my bag as it's not something I want to take a chance losing on the course so for me, a bag either has to have a designated rangefinder pocket or a good place for it.  I found with the SL1, everything would just kind of have to be thrown in together and I'm not a fan of that at all.  The pockets didn't open very far and when I am looking for a specific ball marker or some short tees, this bag just made it near impossible to see anything.  It's not so much that I carry a lot of stuff as much as it is that I think the pockets are near useless unless you do not care at all about having things organized in your bag.  Cool looking bag?  Yes.  Functionality?  Bottom of the list for me.

I get it.  It's absolutely not a bag built for tons of storage, I agree.  I initially bought mine to use for travelling to courses as a caddy bag.  I will say that caddies love it, and it's outstanding for travel because it's so light and compact.  After having it on a couple of trips, I started to use it when I walk a round here and there.  It's been growing on me to have a bit of a minimalist bag, but I don't use it exclusively and I do rotate it with larger bags when I'm riding.

I'm 100% with you on this one. I checked out the SL1 last year when I was looking for a new lightweight carry bag and passed on it for this specific reason.

I don't need a ton of storage space, but I do need multiple pockets if that makes sense. I've stabbed myself under the fingernails one too many times with tees to know that I like my things separated from each other. Reaching blindly into a pocket full of tees, balls, divot repair tools, and etc. is a dangerous game 🤣.
