JT is about to show Ricky how to hit a custom blade with no offset. Man these are clean.

Damn, I really like the look of A.Scott's new 681as irons and JT's 621jt look fine as well. 

 

What's interesting about the difference is Scott's have more bulging MB and greater offset but sharper leading edges vs my 620 MBs.  Sharper leading edges help to keep my swing shallow, does the same with A.Scott.  I'll take the sharp leading edges and bulge MB of Scott's 681as with JT's minimal offset and spec design = perfect iron for me.  I can only hope one or a mixture of both come to market.

These might have less offset than Ricky Fowler’s.  Ever so slightly.   These might have less offset than any iron I’ve seen in a while

THIS!!!  681as shape with the 621jt offset and it's golden.  Oh wait, why not just reissue the OG 681's.  That's basically what we are asking for.  It would be great to have an option to get these.  Even if it was MOTO.  Pretty much how the original 681's were when they came out.

Adam Scott plays the 680's which are similar but are not the 681's. Believe 680 has progressive offset, 681 has straight 2 mm across set.

 

These JT irons are the s.h.i.t. to me. Please tell me these are going to be available for public consumption.

IMO for those irons to catch on, a user should be playing older traditional specs.  Otherwise, 681 specs would more than likely be troubling for most users. 

 

My 620 MBs have minimal offset, 681's have even less.  Stock 681 offset is .080" on all irons in set; more than my 620 7i less than 6i.  Another potential issue, lie angle gets flatter in long irons, which demands a solid swing, and lofts are traditional, 49' PW, etc., while overall lengths of ea club is shorter than my 620s.

Take the AS shape, the JT offset, throw some tungsten in the toe and jack the PW loft to 46 degrees and you have a modern 681.  OG 681's were the best irons I ever owned.  The low constant offset is something that has been a challenge to find and is almost non existent in todays irons.  I wonder who else got a prototype set and what they look like.

I carried a set for last two years, recently switched them out for shaft reasons but they are great irons.

Those are some pretty blades...Titleist makes some of the cleanest looking blades.

Are those coming out in 2022?

How do they compare to MP14's spec wise?

Beautiful. Would be great to get that profile in a modern cb. Closest to it I've seen was a thread where guys had weakened T100S irons but then of course the lofts are weak !

Titleist just does it right, the big stamp on the muscle and the huge numbers on the soles look so good.

It’s pretty close, my irons have .5 mm offset.
