Do you have 34 and 35 length putters in play?

I am 5’ 10 and cannot decide if 34 or 35 putter length is best. Do you have putters with 34 and 35 length that you put in rotation without worrying about the different lengths?

 

Do you find any difference in your putting results with either length?

I’m 5’11 and every putter fitting I’ve had 34” was the number suggested.   A lot depends on arm length though…

34.5 is ideal for me but I don’t mind 34 or 35.  If 35 I just choke up a smidge.

I'm 5'9" and prefer my putters just a hair under 34". 33.5-33.75", to be exact.

 

I had a Ping Heppler with an adjustable shaft and landed on the 33.75" number after a bunch of trial and error.

I'm 6'3" and using 34.5" to 35" depending on head weight. Liking a heavier head I can only go so long but I have really long arms so I'm in a sweet spot there.

I’m 6’2” and I prefer 35”. 
I have used a 34” with good results. 
I’ve heard the correct length affects the golfer’s eye line and thus accuracy but I didn’t notice a difference between the 34” and 35” as far as holing putts or misses. For me, the hosel type and grip seemed to be stronger factors regarding success.

I’m 5’10” and used a 34” putter for the longest time. I switched to 35” 2 years ago and have putted better than ever, but it’s only because I practiced with a 35” putter a ton over the past 2 years. Don’t overthink it. Pick a length and practice with it and you’ll putt well.

33.75” is my length as well.  I have a 34” backup and don’t mind choking down 1/4”.

I do not believe an adult  player's height has much relevance to putter length. It's about trying different lengths, head weights, and grip weights to learn which combination provides the consistently best roll/ putts made.

I’m 5’10’’, and I’ve always used 35’’ putters until recently. I realized that I’m almost always choking down a bit, so I just switched to a 34’’ putter with zero issues.

6'1'' and have always used a 35''. Just did a full bag fitting @ Titleist. They fit me for a 34''. Going to make the switch.

I use both 34" and 35" and grip down on the 35". When one misbehaves I switch and don't really notice any difference.

I am 5'11" and find 34.5" to be perfect for me.

As 34.5" tends to be a custom size, when I buy a new putter it is 34".

 

All my 35"'s have been shortened to 34.5" with lead tape added to the sole to preserve the overall balance.

5'9" and always played a 34" until I recently got fitted using the SAM lab.

I'm putting better than ever since going to 33".

My eyes were 2"  inside the ball before and now they're over or fractionally inside.

Putts are really starting on line w/ less pulls.

Do a fitting, it was a eye opener for me.

I’ve always been fit to 34 but recently have switched back to 35.
 

Something I don’t see mentioned a lot is that length has an effect on your tempo. I feel like I get fast and flippy with shorter putters, and I have a longer, slower tempo when I go longer. I always choke down a little bit too though. 
 

Longer is also a lot easier on the back when you practice.

Back in the day we just bought a putter.  My old Anser is about 35.5 to 36 inches long.  My putters range from 34 to the Anser at about 36".  I suck equally with all of them.

I have the Odyssey Sabertooth and have played with it since it came out. Love it. It is a 34. It came with a stock grip and when the Super Stroke putter grips came out and all the hype they had I put one on years ago.With it on I was losing faith with my putter.  I thought maybe it was time for a new putter but thought on a whim and thinking what happened maybe I should put a stock grip back on. Well I did and that was the problem. It must have changed the swing weight on the putter. Back to putting great again. Moral of the story is it might not be the length of the putter but the putter grip. Give it a try as it worked for me.

It depends on your height, leg legnth and arm length and also how you set up to the ball. You'd be surprised how much it can differ from the other.

At 6'3" with 2 bad hips I was using all my putters at 38".  After 2 hip replacements I can now play them all at 35".  

 

I have very long arms and legs for my height.  My inseam is 36".

I’m 6’1 and prefer 34 I tried 33 inches and I like it but I bend over too much   My putting is based on using the bigger muscle of the upper back to stroke the putt , a taller club I tend to grip to tight with my hands   If I have 34.5 inches or more I tend to choke up just a bit

35 inch currently around 6 ft. At 64 it keeps me more upright.
