Just picked them up from the shop.  Haven’t hit them yet but playing tomorrow. Annnnnd it’s been raining so probably no range in the morning to even warm up lol.  But not complaining. Started to think this day would never come.

Oban 125 S+ (Shafts pulled from my last iron set. Miura MC501)

 

crazy story. Had them pre ordered. Got the T200 beginning of September. But have been waiting on the T100S…..Then walked into local PGA superstore and they had a set of T100S on the shelf. Bought them up. Cancelled the pre order I’ve been waiting 2.5 months for.   So now I have a T100s 4,5,6 irons from the set to dump. But again. Not complaining.

I can definitely relate. I waited even longer for my new i210s and was so pleased when they finally arrived.

Congrats! I almost ordered T100's but I convinced myself I wasn't good enough to play them hahaha. I went with the Callaway Apex Pro 21's, my second favorite option on good swings and still enough forgiveness to not make me look like an idiot on the bad swings. Maybe by the time I get new irons again I'll be confident enough to play those beauts. I wasn't a fan of the T200 feelwise but I hit them well and they look very nice. Enjoy the new sticks dude.

Congrats. Those ferrules don't look turned though. You may want to ask the golf shop why they didn't do it. Maybe it is just the photo.

they absolutely did not turn them. I’ll be taking them back after tomorrow. Not a big deal but annoys me

I'll be honest. It is a big sign of sloppy work. I hope they did the build right. If I may make a suggestion, have them check ALL the swing weights with you standing there, and the lofts too.

Also.. for the upcharge (that I am sure) you paid for those shafts, grips & ferrules.... they should never have left the shop like that. Again, for peace of mind, have them check SW and loft/lie with you there, and verify everything. And what ever you do... DO NOT accept any excuse for sloppy work. You paid for it (and I am sure a lot). Don't settle for poor workmanship.

I like to leave mine unturned.  It tends to give me a shot or two in match play as my opponent assumes I’m a hack who does shoddy work.  This leads to his mind wandering , and then boom. I’ve got him ! 😂

When I picked up my new T300 set yesterday, first thing I looked at was the ferrules, make sure they were turned well

To me,  nothing shows poor workmanship than unturned ferrules. It raises red flags.  I purchased a set of clubs here shafted by a “professional clubmaker of 20 years” and the first thing I noticed was the uneven ferrules. After taking them apart, it was a mixture of parallel and taper shafts and just poor work. 
 

not saying that’s the case here but it would make me uneasy and the suggestion to verify yourself is spot on.

Those are some fantastic looking clubs. I’m loving the furrels and grips!  It makes me want to do something similar on my next set.
