I received my 19* lefty UW with the stock RDX 6.0 70g shaft. Great club and I love that the face isn’t painted so I can hit it at the range without fear. Perfect 230ish carry club for me. That being said I did just order one with the 75g stiff Trono shaft because the deal is insane. Will report back when it comes in!

Well, the no upcharge option for the LAGP Trono 65 stiff shaft is still available on the PGA Superstore website. Successfully ordered both the 17 and 19 degree at 5pm EST.  We shall see shorty if it goes through like prior orders posted earlier.  Hard to believe the same shaft is a $345 upcharge on the Callaway website.  Unbelievable find, thank you GolfWRX members!!!

I ordered two last Thursday: One with the Ventus Blue 7S, one with the Ventus Blue 8S. The 7S got here Wednesday and the 8S got here today. I couldn't decide which weight I wanted and figured that crazy glitch wouldn't last long, so I figured I'd keep one and put the other one on the lefty BST. (I also ordered one with the Trono... will follow up when that ships.) Both were delivered the day after I got tracking info. Came from Mexico in a single day.

I played with the 17 degree today--it is not behind my 13.5 degree Srixon ZX 3 wood by much. The trajectory is so solid. I tend to be a somewhat high spin player and this may be a magic club for me.

That said, placed an order for the 19 and 21 (Trono of course) to play around with and see if I can't re-do that top end of my bag.

I’ve hit my 19 degree UW with the Trono 75X a bunch indoors.  It’s definitely a stout shaft but still has a very mild feel.  I’ve been making extremely good contact so far, much more consistent than I’m used to.  I’d like to think the shaft is helping in that regard but it’s hard to say.  Overall it’s a great feeling club, sound is really good.  
 

It looks great, especially with the Trono.  The finish on the shaft is exactly like the old Ozik M3 Black Tie matte black shafts if anyone remembers those.  If you can still grab this deal it’s a no-brainer.

Ah, screw it, order placed for a LH 19* with Trono 75S.  UW may not work for me.  Trono will most likely be too much shaft for me.  But what are we here for if not to make stupid impulse purchases just because it’s a deal in a sense.

well. ups messed up... mine didn't come today... perhaps, they put a wrong address for my shipment... not sure they will deliver tomorrow. chances are high that i would get it on monday.

If any lefties missed out on the Ventus deal, I have an extra one — a Ventus Blue 8S, stock length, stock grip. It’s still wrapped in the box, I haven’t even cut the tape. Hit me up and we can work something out. I ordered two different weights and decided to keep the 7S.

Just an FYI as everyone is ordering off PGA superstore, and don't think they have the option, but you can order plus or minus one degree loft or lie. I ordered the 17 at 16 to hopefully replace my 3 wood.

Received my UW 21* Trono 75x today which was ordered Tuesday!

-1/2" at 40.5" and Cally adjusted sw to std D3/4 perfectly.

Trono is a nice looking shaft and just from waggles I can tell it is stout....perfect.

If the river of rain stops in N. CA I might be able to hit some balls...lol

Looks like a keeper....but I do have a Ventus Red 9 x to try in it also.

I should have pulled the trigger when they had the glitch.  I had one lined up (righty) at 19* with the Ventus Blue 8X and didn’t go through with it.  By the time I decided to get it, they fixed the issue and now Ventus Blue shows up as a $350 up charge.

Any feedback on the trono x flex? Hearing how it has a pretty stiff profile - I love my steelfiber 110cw x flex (which supposedly play stiff), and have a ventus blue 6x in my driver, but I’m a little concerned that this will be too much shaft for me. If I want to swap it out, so you think they will honor a like-for-like swap if they start charging full price for this shaft (like they did with the ventus)?

Well i just took my 21* trono to the range and liked it so much i bought the 17*. This thing was a high bomber. The trono 75s was definitely stiff but smooth and i pretty much removed my left side miss which is a plus.

That’s what I’m talking about love to hear that! What kind of distance were you getting and what’s your driver SS? Trying to use my 21* that I ordered as a 7 wood replacement and my driver SS is about 100-105

I love how none of us would’ve even considered the Trono in the UW and now it’s probably Callaway’s most requested custom shaft for it.

I ordered, then read your post, then called them and was told that this is not an option. Any idea?
