Who has played predominantly one ball this past year?

I have played the e12 Contact ever since it was released.  I've tried to switch, just for bone head reasons, but every time I do, it seems my game just don't feel right.  Score seems to suffer... not a lot and certainly not anything I can definitely point to, like less distance, it's just I don't seem to score as well.  I've tried the Callaway Chrome Soft, Bridgestone Tour B RX, Maxfli Tour, and Vice Pro Soft.  In every case, the game just doesn't feel right.  Perhaps it's like they say, play one ball and stick with it.  So for now, I'm sticking with the e12 Contact.

The TM TP(enter what ever generation we're at) line has been my main ball for years now.  Only time I really change is when it is really windy and then I put a 1X in as I feel it handles it better (for me anyway) in those conditions.  But the TM's have been my first choice.

 

Hell, I even made it my last 2 rounds with the same ball...  Worlds ending at that sign...

I played the Srixon Z Star all year long this 2021 season.

Yes, mostly. Like you e12 was my main ball, with the Saint Nine UPro thrown in. e12 was mighty consistent, I knew exactly what to expect. Might not be the greatest at every aspect of the game, but very good at all of them to me. 
 

The e12 could become my only ball, but I need a yellow and prefer a gloss yellow, not the matte yellow.

Predominantly played Left Dash Pro V1X this year.  I enjoy the '19 TP5X, but did not like the '21 TP5X at all.  

 

Late in the year here in MN I start playing down stashes of balls I'm trying to get rid of (fall leaves can "eat" a lot of balls).

Chrome Soft X the whole year, only change was I ended up going triple track by accident and its something I really like.

I was playing the Bridgestone Tour BX, but just went back to the Titleist ProV1x.

I decided to take the prevailing WRX advice of just committing to a single ball type for the entire season. I bought 3 dozen previous year Srixon Q-Star Tours in February, and have used them exclusively for practice and play the entire season.

 

I can't really claim any physical, real-world, benefits. I mean, who the hell knows?

 

But, it has been nice to take a variable out of the equation. I don't have to think about or wonder about my ball. I am comfortable with it and it works.

 

Ultimately, I have no evidence, but I wouldn't be surprised if that comfort level has resulted in saving a few strokes over the season.

I started the year playing a Taylormade Tour Preferred ball (2016 model).  I am down to my last 3 of these and have started a transition to Taylormade TP5 (2020 models).  I picked up 3 dozen TP5 2020 practice balls in AAAAA condition and will use these for the next 2-3 years or so ........ maybe.  I could put them in my shag bag and use them for practice as well. 😁

I have played the Tour BXS exclusively all year. I have found that overall I have been much more consistent it terms of distance control and controlling spin around the green. Consistency breeds confidence.

Played the '21 tp5x, ordered 4 dozen this january and they've lasted be roughly 100+ rounds which is shocking. Probably will be going back to titleist as I need more spin than the tp5x promotes.

That's the beauty of commitment mate! I'm married and no longer interested in party at all. And, I've been playing z-star for multiple years. Still have 70+ balls in my storage 🙂

Made a similar switch to the from Pro V1 to Tour B X and really enjoy the feel of the Bridgestone.

I've played about 80-85 rounds so far this year and used the Left Dash for 90% of them. Tested CXS LS, TP5x's and Snell MTB-X's. I could play any of them but the LD is by far my favorite always my go to when it matters.

Actually, I did the whole year with either left dash or vice pro plus.  For me they seem similar.  When I can't find dashes I will go with the vice. 

 

Prior to this I was TP5x (2019) but dont like the current TP5x iteration.
