Can larger flange clubs be bent?

I usually inform a customer that the stainless steel clubs can be bent but 2 degrees for lie adjustment, but I’m deathly afraid to touch these launcher irons. Several manufacturers make them. Wilson in particular I’ve found to be a very upright. I might have to send the away. Most are hollow. I don’t even know if they’ll fit into a machine. Thanks in advance for options.

Ugh…I’m pretty good on a bender but I’d be pretty leery as well about clamping these in. I’m sure they can be bent no problem but denting or cracking the body would be my concern

I had a NO GO list of irons we should NOT try to bend, but its 10 years old now and not useful here.

Its the same concerns @mogc60 above me writes about, but i have done a Cleveland model (cleveland hibore xls irons) similar to those without any issues, so you will have to study the design, and see if clamping can be done with the equipment you got as a start.

I used a Mitchell Signature, and all Mitchell machines has adjustable sole clamp (2 bolts we loosen to widen the bottom clamp notches for wider soles)

The NO GO list was heads like Callaway FT where the insert in the back can pop out, some Cobra models with PLASTIC top line (will be damaged by clamping)

If the black parts we see is carbonfiber/plastic or anything but metal, DONT do them but send them away.

Cleveland Launcher HB and XL irons are three piece, so I guess it's possible that a bending jig could cause the pieces to separate.

Cleveland Launcher HB Driver 10.5 degree

Cleveland Launcher Halo Hybrids 16, 19, 22 degree

Cleveland Launcher HB Irons 5-SW

Cleveland CBX 2 Wedge 60 degree

All with senior flex graphite shafts

JumboMax Ultra Lite size M on driver, size S on the rest

Taylor Made Daddy Long Legs putter, Winn Dri-Tac Jumbo Lite Pistol Putter Grip

I bent a full set of Launcher HB Turbo irons with no problems. My L/L machine is a Golfsmith professional model and it clamped them just fine. I found the stock lie angle to be too upright and bent the full set at least a couple degrees flatter. I think I also adjusted the loft on a few of them. This is after I called Cleveland and they told me I didn't need to send them in to be adjusted.
