Air Jordan 1 Low’s on NDC dropping the 20th at 10 AM.  

 

Just heard from my friends in the UK that their drop was a joke.  It’s a shame.

Has anyone confirmed what other retailers are doing? I was in a PGA Tour Superstore earlier this week and they still said they would be releasing them on 1/15 as of Tuesday/Wednesday.

Seems like they all are getting pushed back until 1/22, a lot of stores have received shipments but they're getting updated release time on their computers that won't allow them to sell earlier.

Speaking of the ZITs... What's the group's consensus on these? I picked up a pair early last year, but I never wore them on the course. I had to go up to a 12 from my normal Nike 11.5, but, man, they smash down (not in) on my toes (I've got narrow feet, so I'm not concerned with the width of them). I'm concerned about whether that cramped toe feeling will resolve with some wear. And, I'm concerned about the early reports that the ankle collar can rub on your ankle. I've had that happen to me with other shoes; so if that's a possibility with these, then I can probably bank on it.

Definitely strong opinions both ways on these.  For me it might be my favorite golf shoe period (second all time to only the TW13).  I think I'm up to 20-22 pairs by now.  

I also have narrow feet.  I've found that the cramped toe feeling does resolve itself a little when the flyknit stretches out a touch from wear but they will always feel snug, more like a running shoe.  Absolutely love mine for walking, which is how I play most of my rounds.

Obviously it depends on the foot but for me I love them. Used to feel a toe rub around 17 or 18 when walking but that went away after they break in. I am prob in the minority but I love this fit more than other shoes especially when walking primarily because the tongue isn't as rigid and doesn't rub my ankles. PS Nike outlet stores have these going for $70 now.

Love mine too.  Trying to buy up all I can now before they go away as I'm not super enthralled with the '22 offerings yet.  Never had a cramping issue at all and feel like they fit like a shoe should fit.  Second iteration I feel was much better than first.

What about the idea that you have to wear higher (ankle?) socks with them to avoid your achilles getting rubbed raw? I'm a no-show socks kind of guy, so...

I had to get a slightly taller 'no show' sock, because they will def rub you raw until they break in. More outside of ankle than the achilles for me...

I wear my normal (low,low) sock with them.  You definitely have to break them in but after a few rounds I didn't have a problem with them slipping at all if you get the right size.  Only time it rubbed was the older v.1 version which I feel were tighter.  The tour white with black swoosh and all the newer versions I've never had an issue with.  I'd definitely give them a try with current price point.  Can find a bunch of info on this in 2021 Nike Footwear thread.

I tried on the ZIT when it first came out in my normal size, not a good fit, but when out in California was able to try 1/2 size up and wide, awfully comfortable, found them at Carl’s for $99, worth a shot.

 

I was harsh on them when they came out, see if I eat my words.

I half hearted tried to get the J1's online via NDC to no avail but, whilst watching the euro boys play in Abu Dhabi noticed the UK colorways for my standard gamer Victory Tour 2's. WTF Nike, they're always getting the sweeter colors across the pound, just like the red/wht  J1's. Needless to say, I just ordered a pair of wht/blk VT2 on the bay.
