Alphard boost ewheels

Can't comment on going on sale, but I have used the V2 for quite a few rounds and have been very happy with it.  There is a very good FB group of users that has a lot of great info, both good and bad.  I have it on my ClicGear 3.0 with the front wheel conversion kit.  My 2 cents - if you have a good quality push cart already, then it is really great.  If you have to purchase a push cart also, then I would probably go with one of the all in one systems.  Zip Navigator, Cart Tek, etc.  Let me know if you have any specific questions, but overall happy with my decision.

Have a V2 paired with a Rovic RV1S and I love it.  Was an early backer in the V2 funding so got my set up pretty cheap.  I've played probably 100 rounds with the set up since August 2020 and have zero complaints.  I haven't tried the TFS so I cannot speak for it.  I use the remote exclusively.

I don't know anything about a sale, but if you can get it cheaper do it.

Thanks guys.  I have two push carts that I love, both Caddyteks from Costco, one with the swiveling front wheel and the other with a fixed front wheel.

The only thing holding me back is whether there will be a Black Friday sale, either in the form of a discounted price or a bundled package with the TFS.

I play about 75 rounds a year, exclusively walking/pushing.  The ewheels seems like it would be perfect for me.

I cashed in my 'pro shop credit' and got one of those - absolutely love it!!!  I'm not near as tired after walking 18 holes, and my back is not as stiff or sore either.

I have a Clicgear 3.5+ and mounting the brackets and seat were pretty straight forward.  However, turning with that fixed front wheel is kind of a pain.  Not a deal breaker by any means, just annoying to try to make any sort of sharp-ish  type turns.  I got to where I would push down on the handle and click the turn button for the V2 and that really helped.  Once it's headed down the fairway and I tried to turn it - no problem at all.

Being a picky type guy, I ended up buying a Rovic RV1S and this one works out just as well as the 3.5+ AND it turns a ton better!!

I can get 27 holes pretty easily.  I pushed the limits one time and got 32 holes before it finally gave up.  As a side note, when the unit is off and you push it, it's not too bad.  not as free wheeling as the standard cart, but nothing like pushing a 100lb sled around.

Hope this helps, I've been very happy with mine 🙂

Thanks for all the comments guys.  It sounds like the ewheels might work a bit better on my caddytek with the swiveling front wheel as opposed to the other one I have with the fixed front wheel in terms of making turns from a standstill.

Just waiting for the thing to go on sale.  If it doesn’t come down a bit, I’ll probably consider buying a full electric cart for a bit more.

I’ve played with others in that have different motorized carts, and compared to the others this is the most durable option.  I use the club booster with a rovic rv1s and the entire unit assembled is built like a tank.  I’ve hit curbs with it, I’ll rub up against curbs accidentally and never a problem.  The guys with the Stewart carts that auto follow have a hard time on a few walks between holes with a hilly path with curbs on both sides, looks like bumper cars.  For the money, this setup is hard to beat especially how tough these are.

I was a backer for V1 and V2 and still rotate between both as I log 125+ rounds annually. Both versions are good IMO, however I don't use the TFS in V2 because I prefer the remote and its easy to operate. Both units have held up well and I haven't needed to replace any parts except for the pads on V1 brackets due to wear and tear from pulling the cart will getting a ride in once. For cart(s), I've mostly used a Caddytek 4 wheel and Clicgear 3.5+. Both carts work great, but the wheelie bars are needed on the Clicgear for steeper hills due to the top heaviness of the cart. I recently sidelined the Caddytek 4 wheel due to wear and tear for the Caddytek 3 wheel swivel and couldn't be happier. Caddytek carts are very underrated IMO.

Agree with you re the Caddytek carts.  I have two and have recommended them to all of my friends.  They are indestructible.  I have about 500 rounds on my 3-wheel fixed front wheel (only about 50 on the 3-wheel swivel front wheel) and both have held up great.  Very easy to open and close and comes standard with many accessories that are options on other carts.  Highly recommended.

If you get one a cart with swivel front wheel is mandatory. I’m using the Rovic. I was also on the early buy in. Paid $499 with TFS plus the price of my Rovic. If I’d had to pay the $899 or what ever the current price is plus the Rovic I’d probably buy the MGI Navigator that Costco sells. I love the Alphard at $499. The MGI seems way more robustly built.

But is it worth $899.99 plus tax?

if you sign up for emails with Budget golf you can get a 10% off code and it works on the V2....saves the taxes at least.

I picked one of these up for $730 on black Friday.

I'm only 25 holes in but I've been really impressed.  Easy to set up and take down.  Works great on my hilly course.  Haven't flipped it or put it in the drink yet.

I have it on my clic 3.0, which has a fixed front wheel and it works great.  I may eventually get the swivel attachment but so far it seems unnecessary.

The TFS is a complete game changer. I thought for sure I was going to be able to feel the cart tugging on me.  But you don't notice it and the only way I know the cart is behind me is because I could hear it following me.

I don't tuck in my shirt while I play and the TFS magnet (that attaches to you) works perfectly fine through golf shirts.   TFS is so innovative and so functional for this a golf cart.  10/10.

Have you had a chance to form an opinion about how this works with the Nitron?

Yep, i've tried it with both a Nitron and a Rovic RV1s with the 360* rotating front wheel and for me the Nitron is the way to go.

The free front wheel on the Rovic is nice to have in super tight spots but the lower weight of the Nitron makes it very easy to turn as well.

One thing i really preferred on the Nitron is the bag seems to lay more upright overall so clubs are easier to remove. That plus the easy opening/closing and the storage bag under the handle for my range finder and other necessities made me stick with the Nitron.
