New Footjoy Traditions design

They've been out for a little bit... I absolutely love the look... and would have bought some immediately.  Unfortunately FJ 12s are too small for me and the 13s I bought in the other Traditions style are too big.  They're OK for cart golf but not great for walking.  I am a 12.5 which means my only options for Footjoy are MyJoys because they skip from 12 to 13 for regular release shoes.  It's a shame because I would buy a lot more from them if I could find some that fit.

I have a pair. In terms of looks and performance they are my favourite golf shoes of all time. I love everything about them. I'm also a big fan of the (almost) zero drop sole. I hate fat soles and high heels on shoes, which is sadly the norm these days.

I will no doubt end up buying a back up pair. See the photos I posted here

I'm not much of a fan of traditional style golf shoes maybe because I haven't had a good track record with dress shoes in general. But these look like a mix of traditional and comfort and price point I don't mind trying. Plus the blue ones since I wear a lot of blue and grey that's basically a perfect color for that.

They will go with your Leafs jersey.

Different blue, but the white will go with the away jersey too.

I'm in pretty much the same boat as you, but the the 13s are not so big as to be unwearable.  If the 13s are too long for you, why not try a 12 Wide?  I'm pretty sure they make them in this style and would offer a little more room.  I almost went this way with the originals, but since I ride most often the 13 was a better fit overall.

I thought I replied to this earlier but I guess it didn't save.  I actually tried on a 12W at the store last week and was surprised to find they fit really well.  I am probably going to buy a pair today.  I've never bought wide shoes before but I guess every shoe has a different last so you really do have to try them on and see - I've always been under the impression that FJ sizes are consistent but I guess that's changing.  I can wear my size 13s and have walked a few rounds in them but they are too long.

Update, went by the store and tried on 12 wide again, then the 12 medium and the medium were perfect. Pretty surprised but happy they had what I wanted. Love the look of these!

Tried these on the soles will wreck my foot, shame they're nice and affordable.

2nd round walking in them yesterday on a very hilly course, they definitely take some time to break in.  By the end of the round my dogs were barking for sure and I wished I had worn my Asics gel-course shoes, but the Traditions definitely look cool. For now they will be cart and practice shoes until they break in a bit more. Next pair of classic styled shoes will be Gallivanters...

Should’ve saved and gone with the premiers, despite my longstanding aversion to FJ, these have been great. the Gallivanter are great too, but in different ways. Gallivanter are larger and heavier, the permits are lighter and feel a little more flexible and slimmer.

that being said I’ll probably order some of those. They look dope.
