No, says ZeroOffset, but they do have an amount of offset still. I would suggest TM P730.

The P730s has not a lot of offset but the KZGs have slightly less offset than those.

Oh how I hate offset.... tried a set with Onset in the 90s and loved em

One day they'll make a very forgiving head with no offset as the demand will be there as peeps see the light.... jus sayin you'll see

Who’s they?

The iron you’re talking about is here. It’s not a big brand name, but as states previously, truezerooffset.com has the D-23 and they are good clubs.

Not sure if that will happen...  Low-index players are the ones that seek minimal offset.  Since there hasn't been much increase in low-index players, to speak of, showing up on USGA charts, ZERO offset is not too likely.

I've messed with ZERO offset irons.  Though I could hit them, IME minimal offset is needed to effectively strike the ball.

Not really, he's talking like a 790/770, T100, ZX7 type of head.  Tungsten loaded, A.I. designed hot faced, creamy speedy foam filled, zero offset Frankenstein iron.  I feel the D-23's are closer to a zero offset p7mc or 620 cb, though I've never hit them or seen them in person.   It's a dream of mine as well, but as Pepperturbo said, it's not likely to ever happen.  Just not enough demand out there for the big guys to go there.  Maybe one of the DTC companies will go there.

perhaps you're right but you either have information that wasn't in the post I quoted or you're making assumptions about what barf's talking about.

I meant larger OEMs.... I'm thinking forgiving clubs will become more popular as they become better and better....from the old shovels of the past.  Par golfers like myself get injured, old, and just cant practice so want a forgiving iron with all the bells and whistles to help keep em straight and far but offset is the one thing many of us "better" players dont like and is the worst part of forgiving clubs...

I even think some pros would play forgiving clubs as they get better and more consistent... maybe even guys shooting in the 80s would like less offset

got it. ok.

well, i doubt we'll see that. most people, when they see a zero offset iron for the first time will think there is something wrong with it.

it's chic to say "i don't like offset" but that does not equal "i would play better with zero offset". there is, undoubtedly, a reason why there aren't any major OEMs putting out zero offset irons and there is a reason that Arias isn't in many bags.

Be careful what you wish for….Rickie is living a dream, got to build his own set from scratch.  Pretty irons, but no longer in the bag. Even someone as elite as Rickie prefers a little help, but I get it, I used to play butter knives. When you are hitting it good, it seems like the best idea ever.

First sentence above reminds me of… When I see a pic here of a MB blade with very little offset and a thin top line and someone responds “kinda chunky for my tastes” or “a bit too much offset for my liking”, “top line is a little thick…” Uh, ok. Haha.

People like what they like. The same could be said for a driver with closed face or open. A putter that rolls shut when you sole it or sits square. Sure you can work around this, but it’s one more thing you have to think about and adjust for instead of just pointing and shooting. In my experience I’m more accurate with next to zero offset irons. Blades or not, the less offset there is the better for me. I believe it has more to do with alignment more than anything for me. Whatever it is it suits my flaws and I can only imagine that a more forgiving low offset iron would be even better. That’s the one thing I’ve never been able try, because they don’t really exist.

No issues with anyone that wants little to no offset. I’m someone that doesn’t like a lot of offset myself. My point was I’m just surprised by what some here consider a lot and and by what some consider a  “chunky” thick top line. And yes, a forgiving next to no offset iron, is indeed a unicorn.

Of currently available products, the Cobra RF forged or RF Protos would fit what you're looking for, at 0.64 mm.

The Sub70 649 Tours have slightly less offset than the Cobras, 0.5 mm, and have the benefit of being close to half the price.

If you want the godfather of no offset blades, and don't mind weaker lofts and older sets, I would suggest looking for Tommy Armour 986 Tours.  They are legendary for their lack of offset.  They may actually have onset.  They were produced from 1986-1995, not the easiest to find, but there are sets out there.  The lofts are such that they have a 50* PW which makes most folks back away these days, LOL.

Adding an image of a 986 Tour clubhead at address.  The carpet fibers obscure the leading edge slightly, but it should give you an idea.

Finally found a set of these in Japan. Thank you for this post that set me on my search.

Was going to say this. 0.5mm constant offset is pretty much the lowest you'll find on the market, and you're paying DTC prices.

Can you get offset where the shaft is going backward out of the head?

That's because their offset is quite normal for MB's. For Ping's not so much.

But they have one of the thinnest top lines compared to others and makes them look like they have less offset, in my opinion. Still nothing like the Cobra RFs though.
