It is all dependent on whether Rahm returns to his form from most of last season.

Agree. Rahmbo will out up a fight.

but in the end who cares ? World number 1 in itself is meaningless anymore.  Sure it shows up to be top 5.  But unless you hold number one for a year or more , it’s doesn’t say much more than top 5.  .  Not to me.

His accuracy is a bigger advantage at the other majors than at Augusta.  However I do believe he will win a green jacket, maybe multiple jackets.

I wonder if he is working with a putting specialist or just Rick Sessinghaus? He seems to struggle on the greens at Augusta. Who is the best putting coach out there?

Mark O'Meara helped him with his current 'saw" putting grip but no sure if you could call him Morikawa's putting coach.

How many green jackets does Morikawa win?

There are exceptions but the masters seems to be a tournaments where experience counts.

You get guys like Phil, Adam Scott, Bubba, Angel, Sergio, DJ

Where it seems the cumulative experience in general and playing Augusta a lot delivers a win.

But the green jacket evades guys who are smoking hot at any given time like BK, BD, Rory, JT.

Augusta is a total minefield on Sunday. The realization that their childhood dream is within grasp gets to them. The course turns against them.

Guys will be rolling along then….they hit unexplained shanks, water balls. And they are toast.

Pressure cooker on a different level.

True, especially with the advantage of course knowledge.  It has a surprising number of first-time major winners, though, especially when you consider it's a small field with many past champions.  Sometimes less experience means fewer bad memories, Spieth may agree.

I’m not a fan of his rollercoaster climb backswing, gives me anxiety. But the downswing is nice.

seems like a generation where world #1 will be a revolving door.

I don't understand your comment on the "rollercoaster" backswing. His backswing is slow and smooth but other than that I don't see any issue.

I think he will make it to number #1. Watching him for a while now. He is very accurate, no real weaknesses in his game, and extremely efficient (very few wasted shots like Tiger). In my opinion, right now he is the most efficient player on the PGA tour. He has all the shots in his long game and short game. However, never thought he would be this good because his game never struck me as phenomenal and also is a pretty short hitter.
