Help with trail foot lifting too early

This is something I’ve battled forever. I used to early extend a lot worse than I do now. Over the years I’ve gotten a little better, but something I fight. One of My last lessons (months ago, 2 kids two years old and younger is hard on my golf game) we specifically worked and talked about this trail foot.  But its still not something that’s coming naturally even months later. 

anyone else go through this issue? Have any drills or tips to beat it?   Other than this foot and maybe hanging back a little. If you see anything else major feel free to chime in. Haven’t been here or sought help in a while.

You aren't extending your trail leg in the backswing so only place you have to go is pushing right away. You're not getting into the ground

You should be exploding into the ball with a quick burst of energy. As the left leg posts up to resist the blow, the right side from the ground up should explode into the ball.

Yep! Not a free enough hip turn. It's really not terrible right now, and easily reparable-- just let your right hip turn more freely. You don't have to straighten it all the way, but try to create some "daylight" between your right and left knees at the top. You'll have a lot more ability and space coming down to keep the trail knee from popping out. A great feel on transition is to feel like your right foot stays totally down through impact. In actuality, it won't-- your right instep will "bank" a little towards the target, and your right knee will stay in its lane a bit more.

Drill 

Place an empty plastic ball bucket between your  thighs  , narrow side up. 
Make your backswing without dropping the bucket. Drop the bucket only during early transition.

Don’t want to hijack this thread but I think it’s related so… I know of the Snead squat / early transition knees getting further apart (lead knee external rotation without the trail one collapsing in)… but I’ve always struggle with this concept; wanting to recenter at the top / lead pressure early (thus less pressure on the trail side proportionally) and for the lead hip to ‘pushback’ - how do you make sure the trail knee isn’t collapsing in (and into the ball) - with most of the pressure on the lead foot and pivoting?… I always feel I leave too much pressure on the trail side when I practice the Snead squat (‘bracing that trail knee’)… any feel on a better sequence / timing ?
