Nippon Modus 105 S - heavier shaft recommendation?

I was fitted to Ping i210 irons with Nippon Modus3 105 S-flex shafts about 2 years ago and while initially happy with them, I've begun to feel like the shafts are too light for my liking and I am looking to get something a little heavier. What shafts are out there that have a similar profile to the 105's but are in the 120-130 gram range? For reference, my 6iron swing speed is ~90mph. My driver shaft is a Ventus Blue 7X.

You have the Modus Tour 125....

to expand on this - the modus 125 is same profile as the 105 in a heavier weight. Will play a hair stiffer, but is supposed to be very similar

LTDx LS 11.5* - Tensei White 65X

G430 Max 15* - Ping Chrome 75S

King Tec Hybrid 19* - MMT 80S

T150 4-PW - PX 6.5

Yes, that's exactly what I meant, like its almost the same shaft but heavier.... I'd go for that one....

I went from the 105 to the 125. Best change I ever made. I can really feel where the club is throughout the swing.

I was fitted into the 105 and I feel like after a year my swing has gotten better and the 125 will work better now. Im interested to try now.

I play the Modus 105 stiff HS/X1 and the closest thing I’ve found feel wise is the KBS Tour 120 ss/x1. (I have not hit the Modus 115 or 125, but they are based on the same profile from what I’ve read.)

Everyone is different in their delivery and how they react to the shaft, so YMMV.

Just because a robot launched one shaft higher than the other doesn’t mean you will. I launch C-Taper 130’s about the same as a PX 5.5 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not quite as heavy but with that swing speed you could try the Modus 105 X flex at 112 grams

Yup

good to know. my biggest issue with the 105s now is struggling to feel where the club is. Definitely going to seek out a set of 125s to put in them now.

Why has no one mentioned the Modus 120 stiff?  (a great shaft)

Most everyone here mentioned the 125. Maybe it has more similar characteristics to the 105..

This.  If you like Modus 105 but want to add weight without changing anything else, Modus 125 is your shaft.

@LYG, Modus 120 is a different animal entirely.  The EI profiles of the 105 and 125 are practically the same, while the 120 looks very different. I am gaming Modus 120X and love it, but the profile (soft butt, mid-shaft hinge and stiff tip) isn't for everyone.
