Best wide spikeless shoe

Old guy with beat up feet from sports over the years  Walk and ride looking for the most comfortable shoe for my tired old wide feet. I prefer spikeless, thanks

I find the ProSL's to be quite wide but they also have a 4E option on their site for a lot of shoes. New Balance has 4E width on a few shoes as well.

True Links wear.  Don't think they offer wide. It their shoes are pretty wide on their own.  Especially the footbed.

I prefer Ecco and Skechers for my 9.5 E feet.

No break in necessary.

Fit and felt excellent right out of box.

Footjoy has some good options in wide and extra wide...I have the Flex and like them, very comfortable. I have also had some good luck with New Balance, they have a few spikeless options that might be worth a look.

Really like Ecco biom H4’s. It’s an even wider last than their other models. Ive had two pair of True’s that I mostly like, but they have a pretty uncomfortable toe pitch up front for me. Feels like a bump up at the toe-end of the shoe. I might like them better in knit where I’m not pushing against firm leather. Ecco leather is also just so dang soft. Doesn’t clean as well as others though.

i got the wide FJ SL's and they're not that wide 😑...truelinkswear or NB would be my bets.  i have the og feels and they are comfy for wide feet.  i think adidas makes pretty good wides as well

I need wides too…the FJ SL in x-wide are good but the New Balance in 4E are wider but they don’t have enough lateral support for me.

Quality wide/x-wide golf shoes are had to find and usually more expensive.

On a similar note:  Any suggestions for really grippy spikeless shoes?

I bought my first pair of spikeless this season (Puma Fusion Sport) and I hate them for grip.  They're comfortable enough and breathable which is nice, but I can't get grip.  I swing pretty aggressively, and find myself constantly slipping, sometimes when dry, but when wet?  Zero chance of any stability.

 

I have somewhat medium-width shoes.  Wide enough that some feel uncomfortable to me, but nothing wild.

You pull one of two insoles out to get the wide fit.

 

I too am an old guy with beat up feet (12E).  I only wear Ecco's (with the exception of 1 pair of spiked New Balance).  Ecco's fit well out of the box and only get better from there.  Plus they are waterproof which is a big deal in Alabama when playing mostly early morning rounds in heavy dew and pop up showers.

If you have legit wide feet, Ecco and True just aren't wide enough.  I wear 4E (sometimes 6E depending on the style of shoe) and I've had good luck with Skechers in wide and some of the footjoy's, especially the stratos.

Do not go with ecco if you are looking for wide and grip... I slip and slide all over in my ecco once the ground is dam... I have been on the hunt for the last few years for a extra wide spiked shoe... I cant find anything that fits me... The ew all seem to be wide enough in the toe box... The heel is to wide and my foot comes up when I walk...

For now I keep wearing these ecco that I hate !!!!!!!!

In Adidas tour 360s right now (wide), which are surprisingly plenty wide for me

Grip is OK, but not great

 

And I agree with the above.  If you want wide, the skechers in wide and XW are boats.  Not a fan of their looks, but they are wide.
