Uneekor Eye XO/View/TGC great - few quirks?

I've had Uneekor Eye XO for a couple months now testing and playing with it and I have the base View driving range software as well as TGC 2019.  Both are fundamentally great and a ton of fun.  The Uneekor has only had a few spurts of glitches but nothing too concerning.  

 

That all said, here are some items we've seen and I'm curious if others have seen them and what they did to improve them.

 

1)  View Driving range - we've noticed when getting started in the driving range sessions, the first club/session you select and configure gets overriden occasionally with a default name/club which isn't what we selected or setup to hit.  If you close the players hitting session and go back to the user selection and go back into the specific users hitting sessions, the original club selection is there.  But if you don't do that, when you hit, the 'default' club selected by the software is a hybrid and when the user originally selected a SW it gets strange.  I have emailed Uneekor about this and will let everyone know what they say.

 

2)  Eye XO freezes - about 3 times in 2 months the Uneekor gets stuck "armed" where the lights are solid red and after you hit a ball it doesn't reset and re-arm.  So no ball will still show the system armed.  At first I reset the software and Uneekor itself and that resolved it.  Recently we waived a club at the sensors on the Eye XO and that seemed to clear the issue and reset the Uneekor.

 

3)  TGC 2019 - Sometimes when opening TGC 2019 even after opening and connecting the POD system first, I'll get almost to the main menu screen but I'll get an alert that says the software could not connect to a different software/system and then TGC 2019 closes.  Usually going in a 2nd time it works just fine then.

 

4)  Occasionally when hitting stickers golf clubs on View, some of the club data doesn't register.  I noticed that happens occasionally on bad mishits where the sticker is partially covered.  No one cares about getting too much data on bad hits but sometimes the hits are pretty solid and there's a misread/no read of club data.  Still get swing and ball data just missing face data.  Not frequent but happens.

 

5)  The oddest and most noticeable one is what we call the "Wedge Issue" on TGC 2019.  Higher lofted clubs - roughly about PW and above in loft have a higher frequency of no-reads.  This has been consistent for months across multiple users.  This happens only on TGC 2019 and not on View.  Sometimes it's just the first swing that doesn't read (even after the Uneekor arms/bings/lights up).  A few times several shots occur (up to 3-4) and the user gets a bit confused.  Of course it happens when people think they hit their 'best' shot and subsequent shots aren't as 'good'.  But nonetheless the no-reads are probably the one item that has me most curious and moderately annoyed.

I have QED, but same concept…

 

When using a higher lofted club, try spotting the ball towards the back of the hitting window. More time for the cameras to pick up the ball with less club head interference.
 

I’ve had success eliminating misreads by moving the ball around in the window for different club types over the 2 years I’ve had my sim. Although I don’t recall ever seeing one read in Ignite (QED version of View), but not read in TGC.
