'21 Whats in the bag

My '21 What's In The Bag. There are a few things that could change, I still haven't been able to find a 3 wood that I'm in love with just yet (love the Sim 2 Max 7 tho). Wedges will probably be upgraded to something forged at the beginning of next season and I'll have Project X 6.0 in them. 

Driver - Callaway Epic Max LS 9 degree (KBS TD 60X

Fairway Woods - 3 Wood - Sim 2 Max 15 Degree (Graphite Design Tour AD BB-7X)

                             7 Wood - Sim 2 Max 21 Degree (Project X HZRDUS RDX Blue 70X)

Irons - Callaway Apex '19 3 Iron (Graphite Design Tour AD DI-95X)

            Callaway X Forged CB 4-PW, STD Length and Lie, 1 Degree strong (Project X 6.5)

Wedges - TaylorMade MG2 50,54,60 STD Length, 2 degrees flat (KBS C-Taper Lite Stiff)

Putter - Odyssey Two-Ball Ten Broomstick 50", 78 Degree Lie, 3 Degrees of loft, SuperStroke Tour 1.0 2PC

About three months. Within 5 feet I haven’t noticed a difference in the putting stroked gained, but five feet plus, I’m hitting a lot more putts

I’ve got the Epic Max LS and still getting a full feel for it, but definitely has great potential!

 

What doesn’t fully work for you about the SIM 2 Max 3-Wood?

For some reason the turf interaction isn’t has clean as it is with the 7 wood. Might need to go a little longer on the shaft length, honestly really no specific thing just can’t get a feel for it 🤣

Haha…gotcha! Yeah, a really good 3-Wood is so hard to find.

 

I’ve got an Epic Max 3-Wood right now and I’m not fully sold on yet. I could see dropping the 3W completely and just using the Hybrid 3 instead next season, but we’ll see how it goes.

Nice Bag, like the headcovers (you must be a lakers fan?) 7 wood and Apex 3i must overlap so I assume you swap depending on where and when?

Honestly they really don't, Apex is about 220 carry and 7 wood is about 235 carry. If I have to play with only 14 it's usually the gap wedge or lob wedge that comes out.

I gained a lot of speed over the summer (84 MPH 7 iron to 92) and had those shafts in the wedges before I gained speed. Would probably put the C-Taper in next set. Love the way they load
