I caddied some events this year for a guy on European Tour who wasn’t contracted to Srixon.
One week he wanted to test zx7’s, they built him a set to test and couldn’t be more helpful. Next week he wanted to make some tweaks and again they couldn’t have been more helpful. The boys on the European Tour srixon van are brilliant.

That's not the club shown on the left here:

 

 

What the deal is only Lowry or his caddy can say for sure, but it could be that he prefers a glued in shaft. It's not like he, or anyone for that matter, is going to change the shaft adjustment on the course, if ever once they dial it in.

There was a thread here recently where a long time member (think it was @phizzy30) posted that his buddy, a Srixon rep, had a tour only ZX5 and confirmed Lowry plays it. Regardless of the photographic evidence here. Lowry plays a tour only ZX5. Period.

Basically yeah, despite alternate angles of the same head (as shown by the same serial number) it's somehow being disputed that the head has an adapter and isn't bonded

Seems to me like the wedge change will be more dramatic than the driver. The leading edge of the Cleveland’s is so much sharper than the Vokey.

It does look like a different head. But as I circled above. Both have the sharpie 2 in the cavity of the adapter screw.  It’s identical. It’s the same head. But some sort of optical illusion makes it look like it’s not.

Just left my local GG.  They told do me that Srixon (outside golf balls) do not sell well so that stopped carrying their items in store.  You can still special order though.  Crazy…

Ha! That’s nothing. A few months ago I clicked on a ‘Tour talk’ thread and it had turned into thread about the greatest guitar players of all time. At least you got a Srixon ZX5 connection. In the world of GolfWRX, that’s a lot more on topic than most threads! 😂

Fully 2/3s of the ‘golfers’ walking into GG can’t even pronounce Srixon much less know anything about them. The marketing of the big four saturates the golf world. Since many believe if it’s not on a commercial every 15 minutes it must not be any good. I am absolutely sure also they wouldn’t sell any New Level or Sub70 if they were in GG priced as premium equipment either.

I remember DJ having problems with his new TM. Does that mean he is playing a crappy club? Can you buy the exact club any of the TM players use? Just asking for a friend…..

*I don’t know for certain. But would feel pretty good betting the house his wedges have been tweaked and aren’t “straight of the rack”.
