Has anyone made the switch? Thoughts on doing so? With the new features coming out in the next couple months I am thinking about making the switch. I would pay the upgrade fee to get the extra features. I have tgc19 but from what I understand I can transfer that license. Thanks for any input.

You can get a used gc2 with hmt at a decent price.  If you only have right handlers that is the way i would go

@harringtons06 What was your experience with FlightScope and range balls? Were they able to register on the device?

Started with the ST and went to M+. I thought the numbers were a lot more accurate and reliable on the M+. Flightscope is releasing for free a firmware upgrade where it combines the radar + camera for even more accurate numbers.

 

What I didn't like about the M+ is the following:

1) Battery life sucked. You can read other threads on this. Would go down to about 50% after 30 minutes

2) You can charge it while using, but need to get a specific charger or it can damage the unit per Flightscope

3) You have to charge it with a specific USB cable they provide (like 6 inches) and charging block or it can damage the unit per Flightscope

4) Biggest grip. Out say 20 shots, it will miss about 5-6 of them indoors. However, putting the metallic dots on the ball improved accuracy indoors. Outdoors, it wasn't that big of an issue, but would still miss 2-3 shots. The device can be very finicky and sensitive.

 

With the free upgrade in January, it should improve the accuracy of data, but not the battery. I never found Driver data as accurate on the M+ but had the same feeling on the ST (or even more)

 

Just upgraded to the Bushnell Launch Pro. All the Foresight GC3 / Bushnell Launch Pro owners say that it is very very accurate and reliable. Looking forward to it.
