Net Return Pro or Carls Place Impact Screen

Hoping for some advice -  just moved into a house with a two car garage, and hoping to build out a little sim area for friends and family ( can't currently play with some back problems). My brother was able to snag a BLP, so that will be the LM taken care of, I had to buy a computer for the system, so those two are taken care of.

My decision I'm looking for advice on is, do I spend the money the Carls Impact Screen set up now, even though I won't have a projector for a whole ( trying to save funds for a good one) or just go with the return pro, and down the road do the full set up with Impact screen, maybe just the return pros version?

Not sure I won't to beat up the Impact screen now and have to replace once I do get a projector, but the Impact set up is basically same cost as the net return?

I have the net return pro and it’s awesome but if you know you want to go with a projector and impact screen I wouldn’t get it. The reason is because the impact screen designed for the net return pro sucks.

I use the net with a tv since my set up has to be taken down. If my set up was permanent, no doubt i would get a carls preferred with a diy enclosure and projector

Yeah - I think in my mind I have a grand vision of the projector set up, but have a feeling once winter really hits, I'm going to want to have the access to garage bay - probably should go with the NRP for now..

I went with the latter route and built my SIM based on my need over time. You might end up not using it as much and regret the huge purchase like some folks on here. My garage ceiling is only 8ft so it limited me to irons and wedges. Eventually I built an outdoor studio with the Costco gazebo. All the turf was from remnant sale from local suppliers and got a quality driving range mat. The impact screen is on clearance from Carl's Place. I was lucky to get a SkyTrak before the pandemic. Currently its connected to a laptop that I have on a Ikea cart. I'll wheel it out on days I want to tune my numbers. Days I'm lazy I'll just hit balls into the net or screen. Still researching projector options for outdoor that is bright enough during daytime. End goal is to have a outdoor SIM and backyard movie night for warm nights.  Winters I'll go back into the garage with The Net Return. IMHO, SIMs are great to fine tune your numbers but I don't think its worth the amount of money some folks spend on their setups. I would rather spend the money on a nice chip and putting green. If you got money to burn, I'd say go for it. Do what works for you.

I have the Net Return Pro and I love it but it's a place holder until I get the impact screen. I got it off a guy from FB Marketplace for $150. I'll resell it once the time comes and use the profits to get the impact screen. That being said, you can always build it in steps and slowly upgrade it if you can find the right deals.
