Who's buying into the Bryson vs. Brooks phony hype bullcrap?

Think Brooks has a lot more to loose (reputation wise) I mean he is playing the instigator role.

 

I don't care if their beef is real or not, I enjoy watching these kind of heads up events (even when it was men/women battle at bighorn type stuff) 

 

Brooks will have the club and ball switch excuse if he does not win 

 

Phil in the booth is worth it alone

I don't know why you have a hard time believing this feud, OP. Half of this forum seems to dislike BDC for fire ants, etc. so it isn't a stretch to believe that BK dislikes BDC, for all of that plus slow play. And, like most autists, BDC has no idea that his behavior is anything less than commendable, so he dislikes BK for "bullying".

 

Should be fun to watch. Put the kids in front of the TV and tell them to behave the OPPOSITE of BDC, on the golf course and in life.

I’m a fan of the silly season golf events, including all of the above. It’s the faux drama between the tours two current meat heads that make me not want to watch.  They both act like spoiled children.

It’s funny.  Not haha funny. But funny—- they pick two of the least likable people on tour , then create a fake slap fight between the two.  
 

i guess I just don’t get the point ?  Or maybe it’s just that I am not in the least bit entertained.  Sounds like something you’d see on the young and the restless. Or maybe more accurately the bold and the beautiful.   If your  wife or grandmother  watches soaps. You’ll know what an insult that is.

I think the "feud" is both real and fake.

Fake bc it's a great way to make easy money (I mean, come on, they both may be spoiled, but they're not idiots). Once you have $20m you figure out there's things you need in that price range that make you need another $20m.

Real bc neither is capable of letting it go and being the grown-up. Professional sports is full of countless examples of egomania and that mindset means they're never wrong.

Brooks is this hilarious country club bully villain and Bryson thinks he's a brainy jock, but he actually just doesn't have the EQ to keep it cool.

I actually think it's good. The whole "popularity money" was kind of flawed from the beginning. We all knew that and it was openly discussed here.

 

So, seeing 2 guys pretty much RIGHT AWAY turn the PGA tour into the WWE is probably what they needed to be like "maybe this isn't gonna go the way we want". I joked about this a while back but this will only get more and more hilarious if it actually works. You're gonna see guys bringing "mean gene" Okorland out on the course with them and calling their opponents jabronis.
