Winter coat similar to Ping Norse

I have the Ping which is great. I can play in 30 degree weather with just long John under that coat. Anything as good or similar?. Want to add another coat rather than wearing same navy blue one multiples times a week

I've heard so many great things about the Norse but haven't tried it yet

Doesn't it come in other colors?

i know the stuff I love, rather than trying to find something else, I just get multiple colors of it

I bought mine a couple years ago when TGW had them on clearance for like $30, was a great deal. A member @chris975d that stocks them in the proshop and highly recommended. So at the time was only Navy. Its so good I was looking for recommendations on newer lines

I did the same, however only color in my size was the brighter blue.   Yowza!   It is warm tho.

was looking at the Ping site last night and their new Norse is available in Black.

 

I have the older style in blue and think it's top notch for all round winter wear.

i have all 3 versions of the norse.  Great jacket for cold weather.  I haven't got a chance to play in the newest version yet.  I bought it when they first put it up on the site a couple of months ago but it hasn't been cold enough here yet.  The puffy part on the chest is a little more bulky on this new version than the previous ones.

The first one was very slim fitting and has elastic on the end of the sleeves.  Version 2 and 3 fit less slim than the original for me but i still wear the same size.  The original version had a bomber style collar that they improved a little with version 2 and a ton with the new one.  I can wear just a good base layer and this and be good in the thirties with wind and no sun.  Too hot if sunny and over 45 degrees with no wind unless i just have a short sleeve shirt on

I cannot believe how warm my Ping Norse keeps me considering how lightweight it is!

I really like my KJUS Retention jacket (and vests).  Super warm but light weight.
