PXG wedges reduced

Anyone know when the 0311 forged and suger daddy were reduced? Was it before Black Friday and do they go up after this Monday?

The $249 / $129 price have been there for awhile. The one thing I know in tracking PXG prices is you never know when they will change. 
 

If they are at a price point that tips your value alert, go for it. I’ve not made a single purchase from them I’ve regretted.

I purchased a SW and LW in the Sugar Daddy wedges.  Never was going to pay $600 for a wedge but when they came down, they are the same price as a Vokey Wedgeworks so I decided to buy myself an early Christmas gift.

You wont regret the Sugar Daddys if you get em. I went in for a full bag fitting and there were 3 clubs in my bag that I wasnt going to replace ( I only wanted to replace my irons and driver as I has happy with everything else and I already had a PXG putter I loved.) I not only replaced my vokeys, but also added a Hybrid (the woods didnt move the needle against my bafflers that I have loved). These clubs are seriously awesome and best I have ever played with. Spent more than I wanted that day, but in the end it has been worth it.

I compared the size of my PXG SD 60* to my Cally Jaws MD5 60*......Identical size.

I know it’s part of the deal with PXG, but I bought the Sugar Daddy’s yesterday and I was pretty sure this title meant I’d bought one day too early. 
 

Be nice to receive them before they drop again.

The Sugar Daddy’s are the same price they’ve been for a month or two. They change price for Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

Are the sugar daddy wedges that much better than the forged? Only looking for a 54* for shots around the green, most bunker shots and then for about 120-135 3/4 to full shots.

I’m wondering the same thing. Either grabbing two of the Sugar Daddy wedges or two of the forged wedges and one of the new driving irons for roughly the same price. 
 

Thoughts from anyone who has hit both wedges?

I’ve had both.  Sugar daddy at $249 a pop is a no brainer, in my opinion.  The sugar daddy wedges have milled faces.  Forged wedge faces are the same non milled faces you find on most irons.   Sugar daddy’s seem to have superior balance and they look way better.

I’ve also had both.  Forged is nice but the touch and feel on the sugar daddy’s are incredible.

For those who bought the sugar daddy wedges, what shaft did you get?

Project X Cypher 60i or KBS Max Graphite?

 

My current PXG irons have the KBS Max Graphite shafts, so I guess that should be my pick for these wedges?

From what I read on PXGs site it says the forged wedge faces are milled. Is that not the case?

It appears the entirety of the sugar daddy wedges are milled. On the forged, only the grooves are milled, not the entirety of the face

I wish we could get them here in Australia for US$250.  The only place that sells them here charges nearly $750 a wedge.  I did just pick up a 0311 sand wedge for $300 Australian so thats no so bad. But I think the sugar daddy wedge would be much much more nicer.

That’s what I’m waiting for as well. I’ve been close to picking up 2 at the $250 price point, but I’m hoping for another slight price drop before the holidays.

The LH 58* milled wedges have been out of stock for over a month now.

Does anyone know if this is just a temporary supply issue, or are they starting to close these out?

I would think they’re probably out. I just ordered a 54 and 60. Could always get a 56 or 60 and bend it.

I wanted to get these just to try them but their shaft selection is terrible. PX LZ 6.0, TT Elevate, DG 120, S400 but it's $40 upcharge. And that's it.

I didn’t use to play the Elevate, but I’ve enjoyed it. It performs well for me.

Oh I think they're good shafts, they work well for lots of people. I just meant their selection of shafts was very small and much smaller than Cleveland, Titleist, etc. It just seems odd to me because I had imagined that PXG would have dozens of different shaft options.
