Im thinking all the project x shafts are sitting in boats off the coast of California.

But no matter how many really good putters you have there will always be that 1 that will roll better than the rest but cannot commit to just 1.

I'm still on the hunt for a driver shaft but I think I need to move flexes but rather than spend I'll let the fitters do it.

Yep very true.  Right now my Compass is pretty much untouchable.   I brought two putters on Sunday to the course and the second putter only made it to the second hole.

I’m not changing shafts just going to try a TX flex in the same KBS in my driver and see what it does to my numbers … good / bad / indifferent

Sometimes it's annoying cause I want to putter ho but also good to know there is one that will always perform.

I want to try my 3W shaft in my driver but the price is basically fitting cost so I'm just going to wait and leave it to the experts to tell me what works. I can get close with woods but not perfect.

Category 5 TX KBS shaft inbound for my driver to test this winter, my 6.5 blackout rifles will be delivered tomorrow for the MP20’s.  I had a pretty good mail day today thanks to the guys at Artisan.  LAGP shaft will be here Friday for this guy… can’t wait to roll it.

Haha thanks, us peasants do what we can. Heads were redone by TigerNick in Ohio in his Nitride.   They’ve held up better than I thought they would honestly.  Similar to the Cobra black that’s pretty tough. The 7 iron has one faint mud ball mark but pretty much all the others are pristine after about 8 rounds and 3-4 range sessions.

Awesome I’ve looked at them for doing a back up set of mine Srixon 765,965 combos… making me want to pull the trigger on that even more now seeing yours.

also kick myself for getting rid of my Pro Combos couple years ago.

It’s not super cheap to have a set done but it’s worth it if you like the irons and want them fresh again.

Yeah I played a set of pro combos through high school and my first year of college golf.  Gave them to my buddy who was starting out and regretted it ever since.  6-PW they feel as money as anything ever made.  The 5 and 4 iron leave a little to be desired with more of a hollow feel/strike but they still perform.  I may combo in a VR pro blade 7 iron and 6 iron eventually.

Keep an eye on eBay I’ve seen a few clean head only VR2 pro combo’s pop up for really decent prices.

For sure.   His communication was a little lack luster but the work was done pretty quickly.  No updates , no received notice just an emailed invoice when the stuff is ready to ship.

LAGP shaft showed up for the Artisan today.  Box looked like it went through WW2.  Tip was beat up from poking through the box so I had to tip the shaft about a 1/4 which sucks but is what it is.

First I have heard bad on USPS this year----- I know Fed Ex is using a lot of seasonal contractors in rental trucks and from a personal experience they are tearing up stuff bad and do not care. Look at that deal in Alabama where the contractor did not want to deliver the packages and dumped them in a ravine. I had a deal with a guy to install some shafts he had bought somewhere and had shipped to me. He had already shipped the heads. Fed Ex arrived and I happened to be in the yard. The guy said he had a delivery that had to be signed for. Ok knew what it was. He went to the back of the rental truck and that stuff was buried and the box was ripped and I could see 2 of the graphite shafts sticking out tips frayed. Told the guy do not bother taking it off the truck I would sign refused because of visable damage. This rent a idiot tried to tell me I could not do that-- I told him you see that placard on the side of the truck with USDOT numbers? Your company is operating under Federal DOT regulations and by law I can do that. I told him I was in the trucking business on and off for 41 years and knew the regulations--- He got mad slammed the door down and said have it your way and hauled buggy up the street. I have told anyone I am involved with NOT to ship to me Fed EX period. I contacted my guy and he is handling it.

Hopefully my garsen grip will be here tomorrow for the artisan.   Wanted to try the quad tour as I’ve heard good things from a few guys who’s opinion I trust.   Going to be tough to pry me away from the iomics, they’re the closest shape to the baby t I’ve found.

Good to hear, I like they have a higher lofted one at 27* as I've been toying with going like a 4.5 iron driving iron to replace my 5i, bend my 6i a little strong, then play the rest of the bag normal, so I can keep my 5 wedges in the bag and still have playable clubs at the top end.

Just got done installing my Garsen quad tour.  What a pain in the a** that was.. not super happy with how tight the grip fit the LAGP shaft, had to do a dry install with air. No way in hell it was going on with tape, the liner on the grip got chunked some how and created a herpe on the side of the grip.  Got to blow it off and get busy with the girlfriends dental tools and remove the flap of liner causing the issue.   I’m sure she’ll appreciate orange solvent scented dental scissors and picks.  🤣

After doing it twice the grip is on , straight and minus a herpe so we’re good to go.  Garsens grip liners are super soft just an fyi for anyone putting one on.  Be careful and make sure the shaft is fully deburred or you’ll suffer my same fate and end up at planned parenthood.
