Tipped Tensei Orange

Anyone play a tipped tensei pro orange.

Just bought a raw shaft was thinking tipping it .5-1.0" but also not sure if necessary.

 

Looking for people experience with this shaft

All depends on your preferences. Tipping is player dependent in driver.

 

Ideally hitting it on a monitor untipped and also tipped 1" and seeing the numbers will give you the best results.

 

Just a shot in the dark - it's a pretty stout shaft and meant to be a counterbalanced low/low shaft. Tipping it .5" probably wont be noticeable in a shaft like this. 1" will probably drop launch by 1 deg and spin by 300 RPM. YMMV on if you need that or not versus how untipped performs.

Ok thanks if I had a chance to hit one tipped side by side that would be awesome but I don't

My swing speed is around 110. I have a Pro Orange 60 untipped that I use back and forth with a Ventus 60x in my driver. I like the shaft. Got a 70tx and liked it to but on a whim I tipped it an inch and stuck it in a Ping 425max 3 wood. Didn’t really like the Ping till I put the PO 70tx in it. Love it now. The feel didn’t change a lot like some shafts when tipped.
