I ordered a Custom Callaway UW from Discount Dans on 11-26-21. I could not believe that the club was on my front porch this morning. And, they beat everybody's price by quite a bit. Discount Dans...you guys rock!

Totally agree, if you are going new then DD is the place to go.  Awesome prices and easy to deal with.

If you think that's fast shipping, check out GolfPartner out of Japan.   Ordered late Monday on the 27th, arrived from Japan to my doorstep in Cali on the 30th -

I once bought a driver from GolfPartner and a set of wedges from 3balls the same day.  The driver from Japan beat the wedges to my house by 3 days…

Fastest shipping I had ever seen was the putter I ordered for 150th Open Championship. Shipped out of UK.. through Germany..scanned through customs twice along the way,  to my door in NJ.. for a grant total of 16 hours. And shipping was free.. 

 

Don't want to take away from the fact that DD is awesome!

I can't say I've ever heard anything negative about Discount Dan's. They seem to do things right.

I always find these DD threads interesting. I have seen a number of post on the good deal someone got on new stuff from them. I'm unfortunately on the other side of that coin. I have contacted them numerous times on this or that club and not once... not one single time... was their price any different than what I could get anywhere else. It really makes me wonder what the magic is to getting a deal from them. I'm sure they are a good company but just sayin' ... they've never done anything out of the ordinary that I have ever experienced.

I've had the opposite experience and I've asked them for A LOT of quotes

Like I said... I'm on the other side for whatever reason. I've called and I've emailed but the result is always the same... nothing out of the ordinary for me. <shrug>

Same. I wondered if there was some secret code word I didn’t know about. Various clubs and bags, their price was no different than anyone else’s.

For new, current clubs, it’s hard to beat DD prices in my experience.  Especially compared to local pro shops and big retailers (e.g., PGA Superstore, GG/Dick’s, etc.).  From whom r u finding comparable pricing?  The bay?  Other online sources?  Just curious.

You can take your pick of online or national retailers from my experience as DD's has never offered me anything other other than to cover shipping. As far as where I have received the best deals, it's from a local non-national seller.

I've ordered Callaway, Mizuno, Cobra, and Titleist through DD, all heavily discounted vs. MSRP plus no sales tax or shipping.

That is interesting. I have tried the same with Titleist and Mizuno and had no luck. Maybe I’ll try calling them from a different area code number 😂

I’m in the camp where they’ve had the best prices. I mean, not life changing discounts but a solid 5-20%. Add tax and shipping and I guess it’s more like 20-25%. On the MAP stuff they play it straight so maybe that’s the issue.

Does DD not charge sales tax?  I know they have free shipping.  Thinking of getting the Rogue ST Max, quote was same price as stores.  No tax would make it a decent deal.

Being in Oregon, DD has no sales tax!

All the big box and online stores have them listed at $549 + tax.   Not sure what price they quoted you but I ordered a Rogue ST Max LS and the price was nowhere near any of the big retailers.

I have ordered every club I have (or had…lol) in the bag for the last 6 years or so from DD. 
 

Exceptional service and pricing. I live in Ontario, Canada, and it’s cheaper to order from DD than my local retailers.

Actual shipping time has been about 5 days, add a day or 2 for customs processing.  Seamless.
