These look a lot like the new 223 Irons with that insert in the cavity!! I wonder if they will be comparable to those in performance (distance,spin,loft…)

Hot List today confirms a 2022 LaunchPad. Looks so much better than the original release.

They were the best irons I’ve ever played, and I’ve been through all types. Power hole on the 6 iron started to cave in after about a years worth of rounds so I sold them for cheap and still haven’t found another set that plays like them. I love my ZX7’s but those C300 Forged were on a different level.

D9 Forged on the Hot List too

I don’t check the USGA driver conforming list often but there is Staff Model Driver on the list now. Comes in a 6.5 and 7.5 degree models. Pretty sure those models aren’t for us mortals but nice to see WS hasn’t completely given up on a ‘Tour’ driver.

I contacted Wilson yesterday to see when the irons would be available since they're on the hot list, and they said not until April 4th.  Anyone know why they're being released so late?  I was hoping to try them soon, order them if I like them, and be ready to USE them by April.  Instead it looks like I'll have to wait till then to try them.

This was the driver Woodland tried out briefly. He uses a low lofted driver. It was very plain in design.

That is the ususal release tiem for most Wilson iron releaes of late, I can't tell you why.  Could be it's production schedule, but who knwos really.

The D7 forged was released in early January 2020, so I was hoping these would be on that timeline. I tried to order a set of D7 forged back in September and was told that they can’t be custom ordered any more, but don’t worry the D9 forged is coming soon

I could be wrong, but I think I remember both the D9 and V6 coming in the spring.   Wilson has always marched to it's own drum in  the golf sphere anyway, so not sure if there is a rhyme or reason to the release date.

Actually its different.  Maybe in name only but the one Woodland used is on the USGA site and that model was called the W Labs model and claimed more loft options.  The new one is called Staff Model but the pics of it look very much like the W Labs model.

Happy to be wrong. Just wish they'd get something to market. Of course they cant afford to screw it up after Baller Box, Triton and whatever

Completely agree.  I find the dassit character somewhat entertaining at times, but I don't get the Wilson Staff pairing at all.

Probably supply issues... Not just on heads, but shaft and grips. Probably want to have a decent stock before "going live" with sales.

Do we have any info on the new Tour Model putters we saw Padraig Harrington testing last fall? They weren't in the 2022 Hot List.

Wilson is my last hope for nice wide non insert blade since Ping and Mizuno dropped the ball. Pings new PLDs don't include the Kushin and Mizuno dropped the #4 from the selection.
