I think he'll play at St Andrews or an event or two leading up to it.  I'd be shocked to see him Augusta.

My thoughts exactly. Augusta is 4 months away and he's not even playing from the tips yet.

"Woods said that he has played full holes, but not from his usual tee markers."

I could see him playing the PNC for fun and for Charlie, but I think he's still a long ways away from tour golf. I think he'll comeback at St. Andrews.

I think he will try to play once or twice before the open, and then walk away from competitive golf at St. Andrews like Jack and Tom Watson, and taking the picture on the bridge just like them.

Ya, then you wake up from dream on couch just in time see TW be like

The golf world will lose it's mind if he ever tees it up again.  Tiger went from 100-1 odds of winning the 2022 Masters to 25-1 after posting recent swing video.  He also most certainly jumped to #1 on PIP board, which they should just change the name to the Player Impact Monetary Program (PIMP).  A much more worthy acronym of such a ridiculous idea.

Big Cat still dominates the PGA Tour and it's not even close.

Good picture, he won’t be holding a trophy.

I am am not a fanboy of Tiger, respect his career, but listening to that press conference, I get the feeling he is done being competitive or even wanting to play.  It would be a good ending to officially wrap up at the home of golf.  He has nothing more to prove.

A lot easier to do that at age 65 like Jack and Tom vs Tiger being 20 years younger even with the accident.

He wouldn’t be releasing videos blowing up the internet of him swinging a club and putting good full swings with a 3 wood off the deck if he was going to hang it up anytime soon IMO. 3 wood off the deck is probably the hardest shot especially coming off injury.

We will see what happens but I think he is setting the bar low in the public eye which is smart in his situation

I know he'll want to play, but I also think he's not going play unless he genuinely feels like he can be competitive.

Having a hard time believing there isn’t some speed behind that driver swing posted today. As jacked as he is right now and that shaft bend tells me he’s being a bit coy with the media. I don’t think anyone thought we’d see him hitting driver this week and fooling around with Bryson playing catch. Dude is gonna play the masters.

Looking at the video he definitely hasn't been missing his arm day. I for one didn't think he'd be swinging a club this soon although unlimited money and access to the best Drs and Trainers help

TW is farther along than anyone expected just a few weeks ago. There's do doubt in my mind that he plays in '22. He might even play at Torrey in about two months. That would be the ideal return for TW - friendly fans, home course, no pressure to win (or even make the cut).

You called it! 😃

You stuck to your guns and have been proven correct. I shouldn’t have doubted TW, just incredible.

Anyone else think TW may be down playing his progress just a bit?

Had he come out to his tournament this week and hobbled around it would have matched his words. The fact that he hit balls everyday, including driver, goofed around with Bryson, and walk around with no noticeable limp… doesn’t. Now he probably trying to keep things as low key as possible but it’s hard to believe he’s not way ahead of where anyone thought he’d be.
