You called it! 😃

Bowing Down Waynes World GIF

You stuck to your guns and have been proven correct. I shouldn’t have doubted TW, just incredible.

19 here we come!!

lol i told everyone in the thread to not underestimate the rehab capabilities for athletes and that for this procedure it should be 1 year, everyone said he'll never come back in 2022.

It's all going according to expected progress, in 2-3 months leg stamina and strength will be at 100%, relearning the gait motor pattern is the toughest after no weight bearing for long periods

“I won't have the opportunity to practice given the condition of my leg and build up. I just don't. I'll just have a different way of doing it and that's OK and I'm at peace with that, I've made the climb enough times.” Tiger this week at the Hero.

I don’t get why so many choose not to believe him.

One thing you have to remember for all the talent he has, he was also one of the hardest workers in preparation for tournaments. That is the way he has made the "climb" in the past. He is now saying that he doesn't have that in him now. That isn't saying that he doesn't think he can play or be competitive. He is just saying it will have to be different at this point of life.

Looking at the video he definitely hasn't been missing his arm day. I for one didn't think he'd be swinging a club this soon although unlimited money and access to the best Drs and Trainers help

When you spend any significant time on crutches, you can skip “arm day”.

This was the same Tiger who said he was done 12 months before he won the Masters.

Tiger is going to have to go full on Bruce Lietzke on us.

it will interesting to see if can learn to compete without the obsessive practice load.  It was his edge and gave him confidence.  Now he is going to have to rely on experience hopefully learn to trust one swing and just stick with it, trust it.

TW be gaslighting the competition like,

“Im only bunting it out there 305 and can’t break 62 yet but, you know, with my limited practice time and physical ailments, Im ok with that”

🤣

The golf world will lose it's mind if he ever tees it up again.  Tiger went from 100-1 odds of winning the 2022 Masters to 25-1 after posting recent swing video.  He also most certainly jumped to #1 on PIP board, which they should just change the name to the Player Impact Monetary Program (PIMP).  A much more worthy acronym of such a ridiculous idea.

Big Cat still dominates the PGA Tour and it's not even close.

If he wins the Masters in 2022 it would be a miracle, 1-1000 odds. I don't think anyone should bet at 1-100. 1-25 is just insane.

I think he will play the PGA in 2022 and still can play at the top levels. Swing looks completely intact, but I think he just needs gain strength, fitness, and endurance. Also, needs to climb the golf ladder from practice to playing rounds to tournament play to playing in contention to playing under pressure, etc, etc. So many different levels of golf.

1pm: Tiger press conference "I can't practice due to my leg"

2pm: Tiger practicing on the range, crushing the driver with a 250-ball range bucket

You kind of have to look through the lines with Tiger. When he says he can't practice he means the way he use to prior to his back issues. He couldn't practice much the past few years prior to the accident because of his back.

I grew up in the Tiger era, and enjoy him playing golf as much as the next guy. That being said, I wish he'd hang up to clubs as far as playing on Tour is concerned to focus on his health and wellbeing, while continuing to be actively engaged in growing the game through clinics and other forms of participation. His influence doesn't have to be limited to playing on Tour, and would do his body and a lot of good.

Big cat working the jumbo bucket!

Tiger like the rest of us…

Go to range. Get a big bucket and be like,

”I’ll just work through the bag quick and  hit these”

Hit those then be like,

”I’ll just get a Gatorade and one small bucket, hit a few more drivers”

Hit those then be like,

“Can I get another bucket. No, a large please. Oh and can you ask the kitchen to make me a burger and Diet Coke. No, I’ll just eat it here”

Hour later,

”Gimme big bucket!”

It was probably one of the worst kept secrets of the week, but it'll be good to see him play with his kid.  The best reason to play actually.  That, and you don't have to hit all the shots and get to ride in the cart for 36 holes.  That's good too!
