Taylormade warranty department

Hello,

This is my first post and not sure if I am posting this in the right forum but just had a question. 

Has anyone dealt with Taylormade Golf warranty department recently?

3 weeks ago my Sim driver's crown came off and submitted a claim with the warranty department, they said I will get a new Sim2 but the wait for delivery is 6 months (MAY OF 2022).  After a few emails back and forth during the course of 2 weeks I told them to just send me anything so I can play but they are very slow in getting back to me.

Does anyone else have/had any experience with Taylormade warranty department?

If they can't get you an upgraded free driver in a timely fashion that sucks, and I understand that puts you in crummy spot. But all of these companies have experienced major supply chain issues, and price increases. So I'd be happy to have that upgrade at no charge even if it takes that long. Buy a different driver in the mean time to play then sell it when the new one shows up, or just sell the SIM2 upon arrival to pay for your other driver in the mean time.

May of 2022? I doubt they’ll even have any more SIM2 in stock at that point, maybe you’ll get a Stealth

In my experience they are usually provide the replacement faster than the stated time frame. I was told about 4-5 months and got my new driver head back in about 5 week

Sent in photos this past Monday and getting a sim max 2 delivered tomorrow.

Had a rattle in my sim2 head, sent it in and they said I’ll get a replacement by may 22 also, 6 months for a replacement is pretty outrageous.

My M6 was driver head was cracked. TM sent me a Sim max to replace the M6 head. Fast response,

I've had lots of warranty claims with them. The longest wait was 2 months during 2020 due to covid issues. They always oversompensate the date to ensure you get your product in time but 6 months is outrageous. I just got a 3 wood head replacement in about 7 business days, that was maybe 6 weeks ago. I wonder if they are out of driver heads?

If it takes that long or even takes until end of January i would assume they would just send you a Stealth head. Can't imaging they have a lot of Sim or Sim2 drivers in stock right now

How long did it take to get a response to your warranty claim....They say 2 business day, but that obviously is not the case.

it took them about a week to get back to me on a recent claim

Will they warrant a club if it was purchased from an individual.

As long as it’s within their warranty window, it won’t matter where you purchased it (as long as it’s authentic of course).

I’m fortunate enough to live near one of their locations. Recently my stealth face started to separate and I stopped by to show them. They built me a brand new driver in about 10 minutes no questions asked. I didn’t even ask them to replace the driver. This is only my second Taylormade driver I’ve played but I might be a customer for life with the type of service they’ve provided. Honestly, I felt like a valued customer who had bought a bespoke item instead of someone who bought a mass volume driver. Color me impressed.

This happened first range session of 2022, think they will replace this? Callaway has always been excellent on warranty.

They should. I assume you already called them this week and they said ok.

They replaced your Sim with a Stealth? My Sim2 just cracked, so i'm curious and (fingers crossed) hoping they might do the same for me! What was the turn around time?

They will replace with the newest model, they don't keep older molders on hand for warranty purposes so you get the latest model.  If you crack a sim2, you'll get the same version of the stealth +.

They did but sent out the replacement first and told me to ship back the broken one in the same box.

You either have to send your old one back first or put a credit card on file.  At least that's what I've had to do.

I saw this post.  I know I'm late but the crown of my sim 2 cracked.  Will they replace without proof.of purchase?  My sim2 max fairway also rusted on the face.  Are TM drivers just made cheaply?

They do not require proof of purchase but when they ask you where you got it be sure where you tell them is an authorizes dealer, in other words, do not say you bought it on golfwrx or ebay.
