The Taylor Made® rac Satin wedge showcases milled dual-draft grooves that are individually milled into the clubface for precise, consistent grooves. The combination of shape, width, depth, edging, and spacing delivers a high degree of backspin with dramatic consistency. rac wedge clubfaces are precision-milled, resulting in a flat, yet textured surface that helps grab the ball for added spin and control.

can't believe i had to request for this wedge to be on...considering it is pretty popular...would have thought it would have been on earlier this year, esp. the y-cutters...but anyway, i have been playing this wedge since the very beg. of the year and it is the best feeling wedge i have ever played...and i have tried a lot of them! i spin these enough so there was never a need for me to get y-cutters...the feel u get during and after contact is really great....it is not too soft or muted, but not too harsh either...it really feels just perfect...in addition, i am able to control the traj. and distance better than anything else i have ever used...also, they are very versatile...i can hit short or long bunker shots, chips, pitches, lob shots, chip and run, chip and spin, etc...i have honestly cut strokes off my game because i am so confident in all aspects of my short game...the look at address is great as well...i could go on and on but you get the point...if you have never tried them before, give them a try...they are really cheap now price wise...esp. on ebay...

Great wedge! I have used this clubs since june, july of this year and it has helped my bunker and short game very much. I have the 58.08 version and it has a nice grind, I think an M grind. very easy to get under, but the wedge dings up fast, but it is a forged club and it is a tool so if you want performance and a nice looking wedge, the TMag satin is a great choice

Since when has this wedge been forged? Im pretty sure they are cast :)

I don't know how the club is made, but I've have the 52, 56 and 60 degree wedges and they do ding up fast (one of my soles had some marks in them so bad after a round that I had to gently file the marks off). I can generate a great deal of spin when I hit them right. I have had many chip ins this year from around the green with the 52 degree....love it for chipping around the green and for dialing in shots from less than 50 yard. With a Pro V1 ball, you can make a ball hit and stop on a dime. Maybe it's the balls, but I really like these wedges.

They are cast, there were some Japanese ones a few years back that had a yellow flag on the bag instead of red and those were forged, but none of the US ones are/were.

Anyhoo, I have had a bunch of RAC wedges over the years and love them all. They just keep getting better. The Y cutters are the best yet. Good feel, great spin, great looks, all around great wedges.
