Golf Channel was just showing the Nelly/Tiger stuff from yesterday and I believe they said Seb jumped on the bag for the back nine so she probably was handling the front nine.

Nelly was born AFTER Tiger won the 97 Masters.  So all kids that age have ever known from birth is Tiger dominance.  Well, that and bouts of heartbreak.  But yeah, meeting your childhood idol is always a big deal.

I agree.. She and her dad did very well.. Better than I  expected..  That was pretty good tournament..

No question, Nelly is a great golfer; she probably has one of the best swings in golf, men or women.

 

But the difference in power between men and women is so great, it makes golf a different sport for men and women.  John Daly II was the 29th on the Rolex American Junior Golf Association rankings, but I don't think Nelly could beat him with current allocated yardages for men and women.

 

Unless PGA Tour drastically changes the allocated yardages for men and women, Nelly should stay in LPGA.

Agree but these viewing numbers were driven by nothing more than TW/CW school girls and entertainment value.

Nelly played from the 6,500+ yard tees at the PNC Championship. A distance she plays at quite often on LPGA Tour set ups. What distance should she have played this event from? And FWIW JD's college attending (Arkansas) son played the tips. See the scorecard below. Did you even watch the event? Based on your Nelly yardage comment is appears you did not. Appears you think everybody played the same tees.

The pros are playing from the 7,106-yard “red” tees; the 6,576-yard “white” tees are being used by pros and family members ages 55–73, Nelly Korda and family members ages 14 and 15; the 6,036-yard reds are for Charlie Woods and Karl Stenson; and the 5,499-yard “blue” tees are for Lee Trevino and Gary Player, the pros who are over 73.
