In all honesty the new stealth driver will probably suit Tiger's eye on the tee with the black though he is the greatest but could play anything in his specs. the driver looks alright I kinda like the red face, just waiting for the durability insights with faces cracking in the past. Only time will tell but god its good seeing Tiger back 🙂

I know it’s been mentioned but I clearly remember when TM first went to the black/white scheme with the M series and people lost their minds talking about how ugly it was and how it’s a fad.  I remember the term “oreo” being thrown around to describe it.  They only sold a kagillion of them since.

Yeah it looks nice from address, but I can’t help but think when I’m looking at the soles of the driver/fairway it looks like a cheap-box set $200 driver that they’re gonna sell for $600😂

Does anyone remember the old Yonex Carbonirons (and Carbonwoods)?

 

After a few hundred shots the faces of the Yonex wedges and short irons had the appearance of a plastic drinking straw that a bored three year old had been chewing on for an hour. I wonder what the durability will be like? Particularly after a few wet morning practice sessions in Yorkshire, hitting balls with sand stuck to the covers.

I love the performance and tech from Taylormade, but haven’t had one really fit me since I cracked the M2 (wear not speed, lol). I hoping with a good fitting from TXG this will be it. Love the way that head is shaped.

With how much Taylormade pays Tiger, it's nice that this worked out to where he could be the first to showcase their new driver.  Definitely helps make up for the lack of marketing presence he's had the past year with his injury.  I wouldn't be surprised if this driver is only in the bag this week, maybe a few more, just to start the hype, rather than being his full time gamer.

The last TM driver I bought was the M2 “Oreo”. I love it and still game it often. Everything release after it is just too ugly, and expensive, for me to consider. Sorry for being a curmudgeon. I still also play my Supertri and Slrdr.

While I appreciate that there are a litany of people that like the product, I am astounded at TaylorMade's knack for producing unattractive golf clubs. I am sure that it will be a great driver for some, but wow that is not a good looking club; at least to my eye.

I have about -498765% interest in that ugly azz driver. Honestly, I've pretty much lost all interest in new clubs in general,  aside from maybe PXG because the prices are reasonable. I'm finding much more enjoyment from mid 2000's clubs like my MP 30 irons and 904f woods. The new stuff doesn't do anything any better than those clubs do, except drain your bank account. I'll pass.
